Yeah, don't let it sit overnight where it gets wet from dew/condensation! Pretty sure my hood needs a clay bar cleaning/polish with less than 500 miles on it, from the ash. Also Oakland Mojave!
Just like the title says, I'm wondering if this is workable, or a terrible idea? I've got an urge to go trailer shopping sometime in the next year, but my whole idea is to use the trailer as a basecamp setup for dirt bikes. To be able to take the dirtbikes, you need to have the tailgate down...
I mounted up my RTT today out of boredom, and to check how it fit on the new rack. Turns out, pretty good!
Also fit the awning, it worked out well with some t-nuts I found that fit the Yakima rails. Annoying that they have what seems to be proprietary rail/slot dimensions, but I was able to...
I managed to find some t-bolts that work in the Yakima slots, and test-mounted my awning. Wasn't sure how this would work, because of the mid-height rack (Yakima Outpost HD), but I think it'll be ok, I'll just have to duck under it a little.
Hi all,
I thought this might work for me, but it won't work with loading dirtbikes in the bed. It was the only "extra" option on a Gladiator I purchased yesterday so I thought I'd give it a try. Drove the car home and removed it today, it was installed from the factory and is in as-new...
Just shopping around for a Mojave at this point, not even sure I want to unload my setup WK2, and I just needed to chime in and say that your setup is like my dream setup right now. Maybe instead of the XT the MXT would be the only change I'd make. Nice rigs!
