Insane diesel makes an oil cooler and bypass filter. It’s not easy to package but that should fix your issue. Someone on here has done the install and shared the process.
If you’re worried about the warranty I’d ask the dealer to sign something stating that it’s recommended by them and it will...
Yes, the 3.6 is boring. I would’ve gotten a 392 JL or done a V8 swap if the 3.0 wasn’t available. I’ve had no issues in my first 25k miles and the extra torque and mpg is great. I really don’t care that diesel cost more. The driving experience is worth it.
Yeah, I get your point. It's definitely not for everyone. In my opinion, the bed is already too small to be practical as a truck and in my case, the bed sits way to high to load and unload it. Plus the half height rack is already in the way. I have never put enough gear in the bed that it goes...
I know quite a few of us run large tires and struggle to carry a spare without taking up their entire bed. A few companies make a bumper carrier that will support a 40 but it puts the load really far out and drags on rocks.
I had my shop relocate my stock spare tire carrier under my bed rack...
I did a lot of tire research. I wish more companies would make 38s. Falken is making their R/T hybrid in a 38. Can't vogue for that specific tire but Falken products are typically of good quality.
I bit the bullet on the the Patagonia XTs. In typical Patagonia fashion, the tire is rounded and does not have full tread contact. I haven't played with different pressures yet, but I have a feeling you'd be well below road driving psi to get full contact.
Initial impressions: It's incredibly...
That’s annoying. Did you get a new driveshaft when you got the 6.5” lift?
X-drive definitely seems more practical but the new m2 looks insanely fun to drive.
No but I have a different model, breezeway I believe and it is incredible how dark it is inside with their LST fabric. If you dont like being woken up by the sun when you’re camping, it’s a huge bonus and if you do I’d shop another brand.
no problem! I do the same thing. I’ll be keeping my MT on beadlocks. The XT will be my winter tire and I might even run it in the summer months between offroading trips. It’s much cheaper to replace and also quieter on the road. Not thrilled about it but I need a better tire for the winter where...
Okay, all very valid points. I misunderstood you originally.
It is interesting people will take the time to research how to get their fogs to work with the high beams engaged and what fogs are the best but they have no idea what applications to use them in.
I see people running their amber...
If they are so useless why did you buy expensive fog lamps?
Fog lamps automatically turn off when your brights are on unless you wired yours differently. Anyone running brights in the snow will quickly learn that it is blinding and reduces visibility. Additionally, most people driving in...
Thanks for the input but I’m looking at the XT. It’s their At 3PMSF tire. I have heard the mt-02 does well in the snow for a MT tire but from what I’ve seen, they wear quickly and unevenly.
If you’re looking for a 40 MT I’d highly recommend the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss
Awesome! Thank you. At the price point, I’m much less concerned about how many miles I’ll get out of them than if they will perform well in the snow.
