  1. Changed Out Oxygen Sensors

Ran the scan tonight and everything passes emissions. Even got down to the end of the exhaust and couldn’t smell a thing.
  2. My absolute nightmare Jeep Gladiator Experience over the last 20 months

Unreal…. The kinked hose at the heater core? This is why you had no heat coming through I presume. So, also you mentioned the tech was placing blame on you monkeying around?? How on earth could you have possibly gone in there and done that? I hope you’re at least going to get a sorry.
  3. Changed Out Oxygen Sensors

    1. .045/1.14mm 2. .045 3, .045 4, .045 5, .050/1.27mm 6, .060/1.52mm (60k kms/37k miles)
  4. 5k mile oil changes in spite of oil life indicator still showing plenty left

Yup, i have the same sickness that only makes sense to me. When my oil life indicator points at 50%, it’s change time and that’s about 5000-6000 kms. I promise you, you’ll be ok.
  5. Changed Out Oxygen Sensors

This is the first time I’ve ever considered oxygen sensors was something I needed to take care of. They were never something I ever thought of. Now I’m reading they have a life that’s only so long but I’m a fan of replacing things that have come to their end or soon will but haven’t blown a...
  6. Changed Out Oxygen Sensors

Yes, in winter, but it does not contain MMT. Mostly used for power gain and keeping the injectors clean. I’ll have to cut back a bit. Running the THINKDIAG+ scan prior to changing the sensors, fuel burn passed and cat temp was normal. I had mentioned that I had no indication anything was wrong...
  7. Changed Out Oxygen Sensors

21 JTR, 3.6, auto, 110k kms (68k miles) Finally got around to doing the job with my son and it wasn’t so bad at all. Jacked up the front, took off the front tires and wheel well liners and there they are. Easy reach to it all. Definitely helps to have the bent ratchet bar and med and short...
  8. My absolute nightmare Jeep Gladiator Experience over the last 20 months

After watching the vid and remembering the flush and fill I did, I recall the rise and fall of the coolant but there wasnt so much of it like you’re showing, also at the end of all that the coolant didn’t look “pink” enough or the concentration wasnt strong enough. It looked too watered down to...
  9. 'Service Shifter' error

Two things I keep in my glove box, 1. Z fuse array and; 2. Can Bus star connector block that sits behind the glove box. I’ve seen your “shifter” dash warning because of water ingress into the transmission control module (TCM Connector) which is located right behind the passenger front wheel...

OP, as I keep thinking about this, something we haven’t discussed is whether or not you noticed the fan running when the engine was over heating. ?? Probably the rad fan would assist here. Have you checked that connection at the fan? Chase down the harness to look for loose ends? If you’ve...
  11. My absolute nightmare Jeep Gladiator Experience over the last 20 months

My understanding of the rise and fall as you described is showing air lock in the system that isn’t moving out or you’ve got something blocking that shouldn’t be there. It may not be blocking 100% which may explain when the engine is idling you see this rise and fall as you describe and the...
  12. 'Service Shifter' error

Short answer, yes. Long answer, yeeeeeeeeees. watch this!

Last question from me is do you have a coolant tester and checked what the “boiling point” of your concentrate + water was finally at? EDIT: Never mind my last question. I just had to wrap my head around what you said (just filled bottle) and not what you were planning (full flush). So now my...
  14. My absolute nightmare Jeep Gladiator Experience over the last 20 months

What was the conclusion of you purging the system? Did you see debris in the old coolant? Do you feel the pump was working properly and you saw bubbles and burps as the temps got hot? Did you try different angles and pitches to move air along and out? To me, if the flush and fill process didn’t...

I’d say as soon as you get it back, you’re ready for your project. 🍿
  16. Suggestions to reduce rear bounce at highway speeds

Wife and i also hated that Rubicon Fox shock bounce/floaty feel on the highway. My first mod was to install the Air Lift 1000 bags which firmed up the ride but then after 75k kms with those shocks, I switched to the BDS NX2 shocks (like 5100) and it was night and day difference immediately...
