I played with this on my drive to work, pushing the pedal slightly definitely seems to make the noise go away. I’ll try a few more times to see if it’s consistent.

I’ve owned a 4 door JK, a 2 door JK, and a TJ. Two door Jeeps are the absolute best, it’s like driving a lifted go-cart! I had young kids when I had the 2 doors, and it wasn’t that bad to get them into car seats. Way easier than a 911!

I’m really happy it worked out well for you in the end, insurance companies suck! My wife’s sister and her baby stayed with us last week, and I got to experience the joy of a car seat in my JT. Thank God my kids are older, because the JT backseat isn’t great for child seats.
