Awesome! Great advice. I’m not in a rush to throw the lift on so I’m trying to gain knowledge, money and parts (in that order) so when I start the install to do it right the first time and be set for success.
I’m starting to piece together my lift. I’ve purchased the Clayton 2.5 Overland with HD rear springs. Curious what else I should add while it’s all torn apart. I’ve heard the Metalcloak end link reinforcement brackets are a good idea.
I ended up just ordering an Alu Cab. With the direction I’d like my build to go I’d like the options of mounting items inside/outside. I’m more comfortable with drilling aluminum then fiberglass.
No hard plans really, I’m pretty flexible as to install timeline. Just trying to get the best deal possible and work around that but hopefully by mid/end of summer.
My plan is to pick up a Clayton Overland Plus kit, either 2.5 or 3.5, I'm still on the fence, but when historically are the best sales offered up? Extreme Terrain is offering about $300 off and free shipping on both kits right now. Wondering if I should pounce or wait for a better deal.
Bro, I don’t know what you do for a living but if it doesn’t work out you’ve got a future in internet sleuthing!! Appreciate your efforts keeping things legit.
Created its own thread but wanted to post here as well to hopefully solicit more help…..

One of the reasons I took off the Rubicon stickers is for the very reason of not being able to do a really good wax job without wax stuck to the edges.
I’ve got a pair of Quake fender chop LED’s and have been waiting to figure out liners before I do the job. Looking at my stock soft black plastic Rubi fenders they’re already getting ugly and I haven’t even hit the dirt yet! My question is are there any aftermarket fenders that I can incorporate...
We have rain inbound but I’ve noticed after the past few washes/rains that the wax job(if any) was subpar. Bought from dealer 12/23. Washed/waxed her today and the hood felt gritty so clay barred the hood. Soft as cotton now. Incredible difference a clay bar job can do.
and had some...
