The JLU one can go all the way back. We hardly ever do it on ours, but it does. Just take the windows out and fold it back and then lock it in place with the straps. If it were mine, and not my wife's, our JLU one would go back more often. She just folds it back to the c pillar, though, like...
Sure hope you're right. It'd be awesome to be legal in this state. I see so many jeeps around my area without doors though. But I also know of certain towns where it's heavily enforced.
I'll check on that when I get home tonight.
100% agree with you there. I've never owned an automatic vehicle, and counting these two, we've had 5 manual jeeps. No problems with either of our 2 jeeps thus far, but I was about to go ahead and spring for an aftermarket clutch soon, just to not...
Great question. I still have to download the new jeep app to see if maybe ours say voluntary too. Maybe that's why no letters? I still have the old app, which is no longer working
We are still yet to receive our letters on either of our Jeeps. I might call the dealership. Ours are 2018 and 2021, so I'd think we'd see something by now.
I personally think wranglers are ugly too. But... I've had 3 of them and 1 gladiator. They are a beautiful, utilitarian kind of ugly. Also, I think they look much better with a set of all terrain tires or MT tires. I don't like the look with regular tread.
Just a warning on the I drive/ Ultimate 9. Mine died last week after about two years in. And it didn't die in a safe way. It caused the pedal to think it was floored all the way. I luckily was able to shift to neutral, pull to the side, and uninstall it.
Now I'm back to stock pedal response
I guess that's a technicality. But the Mojave is still as trail capable as the other trims. It's just desert rated too. But it does only have the one badge.
I thought mine was loose, but I took it to the dealership, and they told me it was normal, and that if they tightened it more, the brakes would bind. Mine needs to be cranked higher than I think it should. And today, we bought a (manual) JL, and it's way tighter than mine. That one is what it...
30100 miles, about 2 years, and it's my favorite vehicle ever, counting 2 other jeeps and a few better handling, faster, quieter, sportier, more fuel efficient vehicles.
I love it, rattling manual clutch pedal and all.
I love this Jeep so much that we're looking for a JL to replace our JK...
If you get enough people to make it worthwhile, I'll try to make it. I'm not going to firm commit yet, though. I don't know what the wife has in store. I'll definitely go in spring.
