  1. Windshield wiper glitch

You can disable the headlights coming on in conjunction with wiper use in the settings screens. In my state of Maine headlights on is required when raining. If it isn't really dark and the dim dash is a problem you can always bump up the brightness with the dash scroll wheel.
  2. How do you turn off the beeping when backing a trailer?

You do get an alert on the center dash on start up that the Park Sense is shut off.
  3. The most overloaded JT I have come across

Looks like there are grates over all the windows. The hood shadow may be the windshield fold down grate or the grate for the drivers side window. Maybe he is heading to a riot…..
  4. Dead Battery After 2 weeks

I've put my JTR up for the past two winters in an unheated garage. Sat 5 months each time, no battery tender. Always started right up. Would take about 20 miles of driving to bring the ESS battery to full charge. You have a problem.
  5. Gladiator on fire, burned to the ground…

Pretty strange to get a “service ignition system” message on a diesel..... maybe it is referring to built in barbecue option?
  6. Gladiator on fire, burned to the ground…

Looks like a fuel fire to me in the pics posted by the owner. A lot of flames on the ground,
  7. Searchiong for a canopy-Smart CAP vs ALU-CAP vs RLD vs ARE

Those are the biggest awnings I've seen yet. Big covered area having one on each side. Brilliant idea carrying the third spare......
  8. Airlift bag install question

So I installed my Airlift 1000 kit today on a 2020 Rubi. There were no isolators midway on the springs. There was one on the very top coil. The rubber spacer fit easily within it so I let it be. Super easy install. Jacked up a bit under the receiver to stretch the springs some. Used a hand...
  9. “FRONT TOWARD ENEMY”

I dunno, sure looks like a kid trying to trade pop tarts for something to me...... ?
  10. “FRONT TOWARD ENEMY”

Pretty sure gross wt for that era Humvee is 7700lbs. So it isn't getting an exemption for over 14klbs.
  11. Airlift bag install question

Probably just to prevent the isolators from getting knocked out of position by the air coils. The inside lips could get peeled back. Thats my guess anyways. Hope to get my airlifts installed this weekend,
  12. Drive-in movie debacle

Yeah, that isn't much of a screen...... people must clamor for the first few rows.
  13. How long can I use the AC outlet?

Pulling more than 1/2 capacity of lead acid battery is detrimental to its lifespan. Can't tell you what the battery state of charge needs to be to start the truck.
  14. How long can I use the AC outlet?

A Lasko L3300 draws 165 watts, 1.375A @120v. Your inverter will be pulling about 15a suppling that. I wouldn't go more than 3 hours. I don't know the trucks draw on ACC but alot of stuff is running. You need to take that into account too.
  15. How long can I use the AC outlet?

It is labeled for watts or amps if it is UL listed. Take a look.
  16. How long can I use the AC outlet?

What is the amp draw your fan? If 3A, 120v that would be about 30A on the battery plus the trucks draw on ACC. After an hour that is 30A/hr consumption. Thats working the battery pretty hard and would not go 5 hours.
  17. Alu-Cab Gladiator Bed Cap

Weight wise two could do it but I suggest four just to eliminate banging your truck up. It would be pretty awkward with two. After it is set on the bed, about an hour fiddling with brackets and your done.
  18. Alu-Cab RTT

The steps are wider and slanted so that they are level in use. Overall it is stouter. The side rails are round instead of rectangular channel. It is also taller.
  19. Alu-Cab RTT

The V3.1 RTT's come with a new style ladder that is a big improvement over the original ladder. It comes black.
