That was my first plan, but I wasn't sure how things would turn out, so I'm just doing a little at a time (bigger sidewalks on both sides of my driveway). I probably need another 25 bags next weekend, but i'll break that up over 2 trips. 42 bags was $150. 2 yards delivered is $470.
So, the JTR can carry 21 bags of 80 lbs quikrete, (1680 lbs) - could barley slide a piece of paper between the bumpstops.. 37's, 3/4 inch spacer in the rear with 1 inch bump stops. driving... I could tell the weight was back there when stopping. No new noises though... even after 2 trips to...
Painted and installed. I will say the fit isn't perfect, but it beats cutting a hole in the hood. Also, if you plan on painting it, sand it more than I did, as I can still see the texture of the plastic (the texture matches the stock fender flares). I might take it off and paint the block off...
Mine came in last week, but I'm in Germany at the moment. I also bought the mopar gator spray paint. Any tips you can share on painting the snorkel? I'm painting the cowl piece, but undecided on the extension. I was thinking of doing that top inlet (white in your pic) in the red to match the...
wow, these are bright and I like the amber marker light. Rigid also has blue, red, green halos to choose from. A bit expensive at $260 plus I bought 25 feet of 14-gauge 3-wire from Lowes (2 hots and a ground) and wired them thru a pig-tale in case I ever need to remove the rear bumper. The...
installed. I'll get a night picture tonight. The amber halo is tied into my front aux 1 amber lights. The white light is on aux 2. I did have to shave a little plastic off and also notch the inside inner part of the metal bumper behind the plastic on each side.
In the directions it says what to do. Go from the inside of the jeep into the engine bay when running the wire. The firewall hole is a plastic plug with 2 fins on it (green star in the pic). Grab the tab with some pliers and pop it out, drill a half inch hole in it, save it to pop back in...
Your cheapest option.

Since its not the correct mount, it doesn't point down as much. Once I get the correct mount, I will have to relocate my license plate and have the hoop in my view.
I put the JL tazer camera in the front grill over the weekend (ordered over black Friday). I had to hit the top corners with a file for a few minutes and now it fits snuggly in the hole of the grill. Once the actual JT mount comes out, I will get it. The camera definition is not as good as...
there are pics on here from a while ago... somewhere
found 1 of them

The lights aren't here yet, so I will finish this up next weekend. I will wire the amber marker lights into the aux switch powering my front bumper amber lights and I will wire the white reverse lights to an aux switch.
Decisions, decisions. I have the paint and I am taking the dash apart this weekend to run cables for the front camera. To paint or not to paint, that is the question. Other options include leaving it alone or trading someone for the stock sport dash.
