I think they're all connected. My understanding is the diaphragm spring/clamp force isn't adequate, so you get a vague pedal engagement along with slippage under load. Materials heat up, wear, and then catastrophically fail.
How did you rotate them the last time? Did you by chance swap one of the fronts to the other side and the other front tire to the rear? Basically, I'm curious if the driver's side was on the passenger side before the previous rotation and has been on the front twice as long.
Its hard to judge from the pics, but are you referring to the treads with 3 sipes appearing shorter than the rest? I don't have a solid answer other than to tell you that my STT Pros (front tires only) also do this if I go longer than about 5k miles between rotations. I suspect it has...
Well, there goes the theory about people flogging on the clutch and causing it to heat up. These stupid things are probably slipping at speed (in this case, 80mph/6th gear) to the point that they heat up and fail. That's concerning.
One would think their software 'fix' would pick up on this...
Don't feel bad. I did too until I had it in my cart ready to check out. Looked at the final price like, WTF? Where did that price come from? Cancelled the order. $300 was a stretch for me for some plastic flares. $500+ ain't happening. Enjoy them, Australia.
Ordered the CMM mount. As for the flush mount, I didn't dig into it too much, but there's a plug in that location covering something. Now to pick a suitable holster...

I'd like to add a console holster to my JT and stumbled upon this adapter that I think I could use. Ideally, I'd like it as close to the console as possible for a low profile. Anyone used such a setup? How did you adapt...
Does anyone run slightly larger blades? I don't have my Jeep or owners manual in front of me to see the size, but I seem to remember while driving the I could squeak out another inch or so of blade to cover more of the windshield.

Seems all it took was 3 letters to the NHTSA to get an initial investigation going against Ford's engine s. Who wants to write one with me regarding this clutch?
Yup. I knew of the MT issues before I ordered, yet I still ordered it anyways. Took the $2k I saved over the AT and put that towards a clutch/install, and its essentially a wash. The transmission itself has had zero issues, AFAIK; its the clutch that's the problem. Centerforce and ACT solved...
