It’s probably a soft discontinue. They’ll bring it back in a year or two, just a slightly different shade and call it Crocodile. They won’t be able to build them fast enough!
Washed her up and actually waxed it for the first time since I’ve had it. I did the wife’s Pilot and the JT and made my mind up that I don’t really like waxing vehicles. It looks great though, check out that reflection!
Put on my summer attire mirrors. I went with Lange Coyotes. They fit well, don’t wiggle and wobble around, and are easy to disconnect when the doors go back on. They cost a bit more than mirrors I’ve used on my Jeeps in the past, but are worth it.
Not today, but yesterday I installed an AEV ProCal SNAP to adjust my speedo for new tires.
Also, not today, but Friday, I threw some Kenda Klever 35x10.50r17s on my JT. It looks so much better now with the 1.5" level and 35s. I'm one of the weirdos who actually think the stock Sport S wheels...

I mean, I guess I could have thrown the word “while” in there to make it a bit easier to digest - but I don’t feel that the structure of that sentence was that incredibly confounding.
I just got 35s and haven’t installed them yet, it’d be great to have a nice new lift to go with the tires. (Also I really love my MC stuff I put on my TJ)
Didn’t realize this thread died - maybe we can bring it back. Spotted this guy taking my kid to the doctor in Vista, CA. Nice rig! It’s neat seeing JTs so few and far between.
Been waiting for Walmart to drop the price again for a month. I figured a holiday weekend would have been the time but it was not. Pulled the trigger at $174/piece to get all five.
I’m plenty happy with it. It gets up and goes much smoother than my TJ does and it hauled my TJ across the country (NC to CA) with no issues, all while being much more comfortable than other Jeeps I’ve owned.
