Sorry if I missed it, but what paint and color did you use here? I was thinking of painting my Sport S wheels as well, and this looks great, but I’d like to have a darker/ more bronze-like color.

I opted to take the wheels off just to have a bit of extra droop to let the shocks loose and get the new ones in. I did it in my drive way and it took about an hour from start to finish. Very easy work.

Oh yeah, well, MPG loss is just part of the expectation I have when dealing with a Jeep. My TJ only gets about 10-12 mpg, so if I can stay above that I’ll be okay lol

How do the Klevers handle in the rain? I’ve been kicking around the idea of picking up a set for the price and the fact that I won’t be wheeling my JT as much as my TJ. I can’t justify spending too much money on a premium tire like BFGs when it won’t be spending much time off of paved roads.

Finally got around to installing my Alloy USA 1.5” leveling kit with shock extensions And removing the air dams (gonna cut them and reinstall later on to cover the fog light wiring). It looks much better, but now the factory Sport S shocks feel a bit spongy, so new shocks are definitely on the...

Update: made it to Chandler, AZ yesterday where I’ll stay for a week or so with in-laws (don’t worry they’re the good kind). Gas mileage dropped considerably on our way across West Texas due to sustained headwinds of about 15-20mph. Even keeping the JT at 55mph was netting me only 10.5-12.5mpg...

I ended up getting a Curt 17500. Couldn’t beat local price for it and got the installation for free as well so I didn’t have to mess with it. Haven’t tested it with a load yet but my JT pulls my 16’ Big Tex car hauler trailer much better now - my area has crap roads and I felt it bouncing around...

Extang installed, took less than 10 minutes to install. The seals are nice and tight and it seems like it’s going to hold pretty well.

Seems like most folks on the internet who install roof lights on their rigs do it just to complain about the noise lol
