You will be hard pressed for any tire shop to offer credit for used tires. They are in business to sell new tires. Your best bet is have the tire shop put them in the bed of your truck and sell them on marketplace.
You should be able to find a nice quiet all-terrain tire for your needs. There...
I am by no means bragging about this crazy weather but it was 71 and rainy on my Monday morning run at 7am today. Supposed to be in the low 30's same time tomorrow.
What comes stock from the factory is 12V Solar. All interior outlets including USB ports will work on 12V until you plug into shore power, then they will convert over to 120V.
No, it does not come with an inverter. Inside the pass-thru storage is a prewired box ready for one though.
If you are not driving longer distance over washboard type terrain, do you really need remote reservoir shocks? The additional reservoir is what keeps the oil cool when it is being constantly cycled for long periods. The triple valving is going to work only when you are using it.
My thoughts...
It comes equipped with a 200W panel on the roof. The solar keeps the 12V battery charged and runs the refrigerator, lights, fan and water pump. It is prepped for an inverter and has a port to hook up additional panels.
The axle is a Dexter TorFlex, independent suspension.
From the information I have been able to get, in between the exterior aluminum and the interior wall board is a fully welded aluminum frame/studs. In between that is something similar to Azdel insulation board.
I think I'm going to go ahead and be proactive and cut some reflective sheets to fit...
I have three 3.6L engines to maintain. The two newest requires 0W-20 in which I use Penzoil Plat or Ultra Plat, which ever I find on sale. My high mileage 3.6L (150,000) from 2015 requires 5W-20. I have a bunch of Mobil One EP 5W-20 I bought on sale from Lowes when they had it on clearance.
That's funny, I was just thinking the same thing when I was sitting outside looking at it at the campsite. There isn't much room for larger tires without hitting the fenders. Which are removable. I'm not sure how much stress a heavier tire would put on a torsion flex axle. I think it's a 4000#...
Thanks Kevin. I did some research and searching before purchase. I did walk thru's on a few manufacturers. The conclusion I came up with is most campers are still sub par build quality. You don't get what you paid for anymore. This particular Keystone seemed to be built better than the Rockwood...
I agree, so let me clarify. I manually shift when the RPM's reached 3500-4K, which is about when it would shift when in regular mode. The issue I had with allowing the computer to shift is it held 1-2-3 gear longer than I wanted.
Sold my Aliner Scout. It wasn't fulfilling my requirements, and I needed something a little bigger. Knowing going bigger I was going to be adding weight, which was the main reason I bought an Aliner, to keep the weight down. So, I set out to keep the camper under 3K lbs.
2026 Keystone Reign...
I thought they were both fads that would go the way of the DoDo bird. They both seem to have gained traction.
At least not displaying any ducks on my dash I don't get "ducked" often anymore. Now, if I lay my pistol down during a cold range and return and a red dot is on it, I'm not going to...
Some of us that run 37" tires with 4.10's would beg to differ on your comment.
I still see 8th all day. I am currently getting 18.3 MPG. I can still tow 4k. I think I'm good.
No. The original 2003 TJ Rubicon had front/rear lockers. The first ones were air actuated, which had problems. The changed them later to the Japanese electric ones.
