I was decided long between the two, and glad with my choice. I had some issues with amps before, so didn't want to deal with it anymore. Also, the platform is nice on RSE and follows the contour of the gladiator.
BMW has used aluminum/magnesium bolts for decades. Its all about weight savings. Heating them up and going slowly helps. I am thinking high torque wrench would have def snapped them.
I have 35s on 17s with mopar lift and about to order 20 inch wheels with 35s. Personally, I think 35s drive better than 37s, and I wasn't really looking to dump another 2500 to re-gear. I may do it eventually but stick with 4.56 gears. 37 look cool, 35s drive better with stock configuration. if...
5 wheels with TPMS. Wheels are KMC bully XD 17x9 in gunmetal -12 offset. Tires are 35x12.5x`7 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 5k miles on tires, with tread depth measuring 16/32. New tires are 19/32 tread depth, so good for another 50k miles. Brand new set out the door was $3000.
$2200 or best offer...
Light install complete.. Why the hell would anyone want to spend $70 on a light kit from RSE? $26 i have 4 left over lights that I will probably use in my wheel wells and a bunch of water tight connectors. Links above is all you need, 15 min install.. Just make sure you have LED wired correctly...
I ended up ordering rockslides and I am happy with how they fit, look, etc.
Installation wasn't horrible. Loosing up body bolts was the worst part. Took about 3 hours for the rockslides and 2.5 hrs electrical. 1 hour was troubleshooting improperly aligned magnets and tidying things up at the...
No difference in ride quality.
No difference in ride quality. Either 1 or 1.5 inch is your personal preference. I like having little rake, but some don't. 1 will give you a rake. If its a rubicon, 1.5 with stock tires looks rather silly.
Glad to hear that, and I honestly think they look better than AMPs. Did you go with RSE LED light kit? Do you think think door bypass activation can be wired into one of the AUX switches?
