Not today, but Wednesday woke up to a dead battery in my '21 Gladiator, so five years or so. So took it to a local shop and had both batteries replaced. Mostly good, but when I got it back on Thursday, had message - Start / Stop not available (or similar). I don't use the S/S system but don't...
I drive a good mix of local vs hiway miles and average 18-22 mpg in my ā21 Gladiator. Itās my daily driver as well as my tow behind with my motorhome.
A 4xe has no value for me. Added weight , added complexity, added cost.
It was common sense for Jeep to stop the ridiculous hybrid pickup. I...
Protect from what? UV rays? Tree sap?
303 Products are great for protecting from UV damage.
Wash Wax All does a good job as a waterless cleaner, shine, and UV protectio.
OK, so I'm not an "Oil Guy" so bear with me. What was really learned with all this analysis? Other than gut feel why the switch in viscosity from the OEM 0w20? Something trigger a need to ? At the end of the day any figures/stats show one better than the other?
my ā21 glad still has OEM batteries with no signs of weakening. It gets driven quite a lot, mostly interstate, so batteries are always fully charge. Just like tires keep them maintained, cleaned, well used and they will last a long time.
What motorhome, what Glad, setup?
I use the NSA ReadyBrake which attaches to the towbor. If I were to start over, I'd use the NSA Ready Brute Elite setup which has the towbar safety cables and braking system in one kit. I use the stock bumper and installed the RoadMaster baseplate. Very simple...
There are some direct replacements for the factory "bulbs". I ran some in my '15 JK, and now in my '21 JT. Much better light, and don't overpower the oncoming traffic.
Hope they fixit for you. One of the reasons I like either CarPlay or Android is the same system in any car I drive., on my Iphone, on my Mac. I think car manufacturers are wasting a lot of money, building software when the same function is available from phone, and GPS device makers.
Wouldn't it be a better idea just to keep the battries charged. From what I garnered those of us obliged to drive their Jeeps daily/weekly have had far less issues with the batteries. My '21 still going strong, but to be fair, have installed device to keep the ESS off.
I have a ā21 Willys that has running boards (actually a long pipe with steps) that I use every day. Iām 6ā2ā stock tires, no lift. Even with the step wife has issues getting in. Weāre both in our early 70ās. Ours donāt look like an afterthought.
