I’ve always wondered when was the last time an engine problem was directly due to oil failure/old oil?
saying something like - I’ve always changed my oil at 3,000 miles and never a problem is simply fun facts, and perhaps helps people sleep better at night. But it doesn’t prove changing oil...
My 2¢:
Jeep needs a basic no frills Jeep Wrangler.
Get rid of the aux battery and go to a single more powerful battery
Support CarPlay/Android via Bluetooth
Dump the electric vehicles for Wrangler/Gladiator. Makes them too heavy for recreation towing by most motorhomes. What customers asked...
Looks to me like the washers are too small causing the shield to crack due to too much flexing. I’d think bigger washers on both sides of the shield would help.
Another idea is to run a wide strip of double sided tape between the shield and the hood the length of the shield in addition to the...
So the USB ports are dead. Can you connect your iPhone to Uconnect via blue tooth? Yes you won't get CarPlay but at least you be able to play music, use the phone controls.
BTW I just upgraded by iPhone 14 to 18.2.2 and all is still working. I too have the 8.5 in my '21
So in 2016 I order a Newmar motorhome with certain options. While still at the factory an associate who was there waiting on his, takes pictures of mine that just came off the assembly line. First thing I notice was no rear window I had ordered. Newmar apologizes and gives me a credit + . Upon...
And what does the V10 get when not towing? If like mine (or the one I had (31ft) was still in the 7 range. My BTCrusier with the 7.3 Gorilla V8 get in the mid 9's.
And I agree with you on the If you need to know the MPG of a MH, you don't need to buy one.
I have not deleted or bypassed the aux battery. I have installed a device that keeps the ESS system off unless I want it on, which won’t happen. Mines a used 2021, daily driver, and works great.
I'm looking to get one for my new Class C mh (E450 Ford based) which I use to pull my Gladiator. I have seen a/the video showing someone backing up after installing one. Going slow, short distance, straight back might work for you to backup. I think in the 8 years I had my Class A gasser, the...
I could be wrong, But No. You can connect your phone to the Jeep so you can make phone calls, play your music, and perhaps a few other features via the media features. But I think Carplay came with the '21 model year. You should be able to connect your iPhone via Bluetooth.
FWIW: I felt sure...
I have them (Sumo's) on my 2024 Ford E450 motorhome and they made a noticeable difference in side to side sway, and kept the rear from dipping as much as much over bumps or from too much weight in the back. These were a very recent addition so no long term experience with them.
Have not thought...
