I recently bought a new Rubicon Gladiator and have noticed it has a very slight vibration at around 60-ish. The vibration can be felt in drivers seat and heard if on a quiet road. Its a constant coming and going of the vibration. Not sure if its the tires or what it lasts about a half a second to maybe a full second and then is gone for the same amount of time and then comes back and lasts equal abount of time again.....just over and over and over. AT about 70 it seems to be a lot harder to notice. I have the Faulkin Wildpeak Mt's, and they seem smooth at all speeds other than that 60-ish range. Can you guys think of what it could be?

The Jeep is brand new!! now has about 600 miles after me owning it a couple weeks.

Driveshaft, maybe a u-joint. Or the rear axle, maybe a pinion bearing.

Rotate the tires …. Did anything change?
What size tires are you running? What tire pressure?

Are you still under warranty? What year? How many miles?

Mine had a slight "rubber-bandy" hum at 60mph right after I installed my lift. I centered my axle and installed new wheels and tires, and it seems to have gone away. Maybe the 37s just drown it out.

Those MT's do tend to have a vibration at various speeds, I have the same tires on my Rubicon. But it's more constant, they are really blocky. Try adjusting your tire pressure up or down by 5 lbs or so and see if it changes or moves in the speed range, that would point to the tires

I run 40 psi in them, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me.

I have a 24 Rubicon that I bought new about 6 months ago. I have the same thing and was trying to figure it out. I finally gave up. For me it predominantly happens around 64 give or take a couple of MPH. It is almost like a strange light harmonic pulsing. I installed a dead pedal and i feel it more through that but like you I still feel it without it. I tried all the suggestions i.e. tire pressure, rotation, changed gear and transfer case fluids with no change. Finally I just chalked it up to being a "Jeep" thing lol. It doesn't seem to have any adverse effect and everything else seems fine. Glad I am not the only one that notices it.

I should add I took it to the dealership and told them about it. They went over it and found nothing of course. I now have 12k miles on it and still running well other than what we mentioned.

Yep! I accept it and move on. I just turned over 3000 miles, and it seems to be gone for now. It's just Jeep stuff!

Yeah the wierd thing is I ordered a new Mojave back in 2022 and it did the same thing. My wife bought a new High Tide Wrangler last year and it does NOT do it at all. This being the second new gladiator I have owned, and both of them doing this, I truely thought the second I posted this I would have an answer immediately. This is obviously an issue that is not fairly common. You and I are definitely having the same issue. You discribed it perfectly with calling it a "harmonic pulsing". Very accurate discription.

Sounds like tires are not balanced properly. Take it to a good tire shop and as mentioned above, get them to do a road force test.

I wouldn’t go to a tire shop since it’s brand new and under warranty.

I’d go to the dealer first.

Since dealer hasn’t fixed it, after a while I’d go elsewhere.
