40" Nittos are cheaper than the Yokohama's I want. Still about $3000-3500 for tires, install, and taxes for a set of 5 if you have the proper wheels on hand.
I got a set of 35" Falken MTs in May 2020 for about $1400 installed after tax. $280 per tire. I picked up another new tire for $125 a year later off FB. I saw tires go on sale as low as $240 per tire.
Well, nearly 50k miles later, my 21/32" are down to about 8/32" (per tire shop doing...
Thanks. Yes it will be a bother to get, and replace the aux battery.
For those who may be interested. Still have not replaced the main battery and still no issues. I have not reached a spot where I will be without any cell/data signal so will update as I can. No ESS error messages, the system...
I had a user on the JL forums say he has run his for 60k miles with just the main battery (though it is aftermarket, same size I believe)
Given most of my warranties are over in 500 miles (likely have some emission related ones) electrical issues warranties ended about 24k miles ago.
From what I have read and been told the ESS works without the aux battery and pushing the button does not stop the aux battery from being used or drawing power
What are the signs that one or both batteries will soon need replacing? If one goes bad then both should be replaced, I have read.
I dont recall the display ever showing below 14V, now it is at 13, goes up to 13.8 briefly during downhill coasting.
At just under 60k miles, late 2019 build date

Perhaps you misinterpret my postulation as my desire for myself to commit such an act. Even where I to be a federal prosecutor well versed in the laws of criminal charges in my area, I would not want to be on the receiving end of the criminal justice system, let alone be faced with that choice...
You may be wrong again. A law may state that a person has a right to shoot someone in their home who does not have the right to be there. Examples may include someone repossessing your home, a tenant, etc. The option for claiming self-defense may not be available to such individuals. Yes in many...
People in nice/wealthy neighborhoods are also less confrontational in the face of violence. The criminals in my city have explicitly started going to the "nice" areas of town because people won't fight back there. As reported to me by law enforcement being told that by said types of criminals.
