Mine showed up today via Estes, 2 hours before the appointment window (that they never called me to set up. They dropped it off without any signature and never knocked etc. Didn't even know it was ther till hours later.
The ones I ordered on 3/02 from Quadratec are supposed to show up tomorrow. I never received shipping notification from Quadratec, till after I received it from the shipping company. I had contacted Quadratec on 4/26, at 7-8 weeks into the order, but hadn't heard back from them until 5/13. At...
Upgraded my frontrunner cross bars to their full "basket". Then added traction boards and a rotopax to it. It is a tight fit with the tent, but seems to fit.
I have the tent flipping to the rear, over the tailgate.
Yep, going aluminum. On the sliders I went angle up.
I haven't decided on rear. Since I have a Rubicon, I'm pretty sure I will just stay stock on rear bumper. I had selected a plastic front bumper, because I knew I would upgrade it.
Yeah seriously.
I ordered mine 3/02/22, and was hoping to have them for a trip the last week of May. I also ordered a Rockhard mid width bumper at the same time. I knew it would be slower, but couldn't justify the additional 275 or so for shipping (and have to pick it up at fed ex hub)...
Planning a overland trip for the end of May...hopefully. Gas prices may end of canceling it.
The trip means the wife finally let me order a bunch of gear for the Gladiator. These Gear America 5 ton aluminum shackles were the first to arrive.
Also on order:
Rock Hard 4x4 aluminum mid-width...
Current setup. I will be changing this up some and adding to it before heading west for an Overland trip out west in the end of May.
Currently it is a Diamondback cover with 2 frontrunner cross bars installed on it, with a Roam tent. Soon I'll be switching out the 2 bars to their full...
I made this originally for my f250 cap, but modified it for my rack and rtt. Just rope, pulleys and hand crank. At some point I will change it to a powered hoist.
I actually agree with both your points, I have just have gotten used to them blanking out. I've looked in the menu and manual twice to see if a on off thing, and remarried twice to make sure installed properly. I'll have to to recheck tomorrow.
Kinda off topic, but when I updated to the new version I lost my license plate lights turning off when rear cam is on (reverse and turn signal). Has this happen to anyone else with the new version?
It worked for me for every version except the newest.
I've had this installed for awhile now, but forgot to post a picture. This is a titanium top with dirty dog 4x4 rollbar pads and bartact grab handles
You can leave it on with a. hard top. The side tee top handles just need to be "spun" through the top with your fingers. Slightly push down on...
My Gladiator is usually my sales/personal vehicle, but at times it gets to haul tree gear to no cleanup jobs. This time it got hauled to a 2 day crane sub job...so I could drive the Gladiator around instead of the crane.
Switched out the aluminum jtop for the titanium jtop that I had actually ordered...they let me use the aluminum till mine came. While I had the top and sunscreen off, I added Dirty Dog 4x4 rollbar covers and 4 Bartact paracord grab handles. Thankfully everything worked well together.
Ps - the...
Nope. I'm still waiting. I received an email 2 days ago, that it is scheduled to ship out Thursday (tomorrow). It sounded like they were doing batches to catch up...so making all of one color and then switching to another. This way they didn't have to constantly switch out the material in the...
Still waiting on mine, they are checking on it. They said they are shipping out a lot of Gladiator tops this week, but wasn't sure if they got to titanium ones yet (which mine is).
I ordered may 15th. I contacted them a few times, since then. I've seen on Facebook that buckles were the major hold up, and they finally received some of their order of them. On their website the lead time used to say 5-7 weeks, but was recently updated to 2-3 weeks
On Tuesday (August 10th)...
Now if we could just figure out a way to open the cover with a tent still on....some kind of hinge and slide system that would allow the front to be opened (while tent was shut). Especially for a half rack or frontrunner setup.
