I'm definitely not local, but I've been looking at this setup for awhile. Did it whistle before you put on the Aerolid? Did the Aerolid eliminate all the whistle?
I'm also curious if the Aerolid would fit over the J5 covers?
I checked in with them today. They are saying their buckle supplier says they should have them the week of July 19th....so jtops is hoping to catch up on the backorders and be shipping out the first week of August.
Installed my lights today. I decided to just wire them to the Aux 4 switch. Since I mostly only wanted them on a as needed basis, and for camping. I'll try to get some night pictures this evening (reverse camera, standing on bed, and looking towards the truck etc)
I'd be curious on how the group buy (pre order) was handled on their end. If I recall correctly, originally it was only opened to the first 100 people.
I had originally contacted them January 20th, saying I wanted to be part of it. It became pretty obvious that they were massing more...
I placed my order 3/5 also.
Just received my shipping confirmation a couple hours ago. According to the tracking it is supposed to arrive July 1st, coming from Louisiana.
Anyone try these yet?
It came up in my FB feed as an ad. Looks like they offer 2 styles - a stackable one (. 75" to 1" front raise) and a 1.25" raise.

A Diamondback cover with FrontRunner cross bars is about the same height as a mid rack. So I guessing you want more of a finished height of a full rack...RTT above the truck cab height.
I bought gun like cases that I can slide between the crossbars and DB
Looks like the group buy gives you 15% off (Normally $149.95 but now $127.46), free shipping and you get to be part of the first shipment of them. Use the code stated in their post above (I would assume in their email too but I didn't get one from them announcing the release yet...though I was...
I did a diy deflate/inflate system. I don't recall how much $ I put into it...slightly under the Speedflate system.
Deflates a 4 oem rubicon tires at once in 2 minutes and 25 seconds (35 psi to 18 psi). Inflates with a Harbor Freight pump in 12 minutes and 30 seconds
We are just raising the puppy, and socializing him. Usually around 14-18 months old the dog goes back to the Seeing Eye for a full health screen. If he passes that, they start training him for a blind person.
For me, the dogs in the back seat area have chest harnesses on and are connected to the seat belt clip. The lab in the footwell is not clipped in. To be completely honest I feel it is a bad place for a dog in a accident (bound to get crushed there), but it is where the Seeing Eye wants their...
With the brackets installed, the farthest foward position is the same as the farthest back position of oem.
The brackets make the seat about a 1/4" higher, so you head gets closer to the found bar. Depending how tall you are, this could be a issue for you.
Yes he can see out the window...his chin is about level with the sill.
