I agree that my Crows feet had some play in them as well but I had no problem torqueing them and not rounding them off. Just made sure the crows foot was seated all the way on the jam nut. There is a lot of metal there to move and round it off, not an easy task. But, I pulled al my arms back out...
OMG...That is awesome. Long time ago. I was running the Trailmaster 4.5" kit then with Falken Wildpeaks. Had the Or Fab tire carrier then as well. Thanks, pics from the past!!
This looks very cool. Curious to see how FCA views it. I'm interested but with only 2500 miles on Gladiator I will wait a little bit. I see you are in NJ, I'm located in Lehigh Valley of Pa so having you guys do the install would be best.
Have a few questions, I have a Genesis dual battery kit...
I used SAE crowsfeet for the jam nuts.. They are big, I think the big ones were 1 5/8". I have a large 1/2" drive set that goes up to 2". Bought it online off Amazon, worked great. Here is the link.

Agreed, thank you for the suggestions. I will continue to check it over. I read in a few threads that many people have experience ball joints right out of the factory that were not torques enough. That was what I figured I'd check. I can't imagine them to be worn out but improper torque could...
Thanks for suggestion. Going to retorque my ball joints tomorrow. I retorqued all my front end bolts, control arms, tracbar, swaybar links, all steering linkage, etc tonight and no change
Noticed this yesterday. My JTR has the Rock Krawler 3.0" Pro-X 'no limits" Stage 1 lift, Synergy Trac bar/sector shaft brace, HD draglink and HD tierod with 37" Nitto tires.
During normal driving, everything is fine. Jeep runs and drives great. At low speeds when wheel is turned approx. half way...
Got my JTR aligned the other day. Worked out great. Alignments specs were dead on out of the box for the lift kit and the toe was perfect after swapping my tie rod. Installed the tires yesterday.
I just want to give a huge shout out to RockKrawler on the 3.0" Pro-X 'no limits' Stage 1 lift. I installed mine about 2 weeks ago or so. Recentered the wheel and drove it a couple hundred miles. Truck drove perfectly. I installed the last piece, my Synergy tie rod this past weekend and took it...
I never even gave it much of a thought. Figured I'd avoid any, though probably negligible, abnormal wear on the new ones. I'll ask my alignment guy and see what he says. Thanks for heads up
I imagine you could but I figured they can align it to spec on the factory wheels. I honestly didn't think it made a difference but if someone knows otherwise please let me know
Installed my Synergy tierod , stabilizer relocation kit, and fox stabilizer today. Last piece of the puzzle. Truck goes in for its alignment this Tuesday, then the tires and wheels go on. Tierod and relocation kit was simple to install, only bummer was that my EVO FAD skid interfered with the...
Got my lift installed about 2 weeks ago. Installed the Rock Krawler 3.0" Pro-X 'no limits" stage 1 kit. Installation was very straightforward. The starting lengths that RockKrawler gives you are dead on. I set all the lengths before the day I did the lift. The lowers were set and jam nuts...
Understood and Agreed. I would not say you spent to much time writing it up. I'm sure that there are many who are not sure how to add a switch like that and will read it and be thankful someone did write it down.
Exactly the way my Warn interrupter is wired. Your method is definitely cheaper. I will add. The Warn switch includes all necessary terminals, wire, etc to install it. But either way it comes to choice. The Warn kit is twice the price of what you list in parts.
