  1. Popping from underneath as suspension cycles?

I bet you'll find it when the skid plate is off. To my ears, it sounds like a loose bolt; a click or two then the stop. Like a bracket sliding along a loose bolt. Good luck!
  2. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Now ya gotta fix it! ;-)
  3. Factory hood lock

I too worried about the "unsecured" hood. I realized, as others have stated, breaking a window, pulling a lever, and then the hood release, is all of one more movement than undoing two latches. Unless someone is will hear the glass break, there might not be any gain. There were some claims...
  4. Waiting on a tow after leaving dealer after oil change

When "free" means "cost you a day", ugh!
  5. Waiting on a tow after leaving dealer after oil change

Whatever it is, make sure to get it written. @JeepCares might be able to assist? Good luck!
  6. Planned Obsolescence by Auto Manufacturers

Not quite the same though, is it, as just opening the case, remove, and replace?
  7. Planned Obsolescence by Auto Manufacturers

Can you without special tools, or can you pay someone to replace it for you? I still have a Galaxy SIII. On it, like the smart phones before it, I can easily, with my fingers, pop off the cover and remove or replace the battery. Of course, that was the last smart phone where I could easily...
  8. Planned Obsolescence by Auto Manufacturers

Yup, it was a thing when my grand-dad worked for Ford, when Nixon was in office. Digital made it easier to make everything disposable. Like some people's +$1k smart phones that are dead in a couple of years due to the battery failing. At least through the 90s we could still repair circuit...
  9. Bison vs Raptor vs TRD vs Mojave

Even better, a knob not involving CANBUS or any control module; just be a switch. I guess I could quit griping and rewire stuff.
  10. Ouray Day 4

Yeah, 11° tilt and 25° roll, how was that @Sw00per?
  11. Ouray Day 4

I just might get that way next late Summer. Looks like a great time.
  12. Bison vs Raptor vs TRD vs Mojave

I watched only until the fool high centered the mojave. That was user error. Then instead of trying 4L or something to get unstuck, they used the Chevy to winch it out. At that point, I figured the video was equal to the one showing a cyber truck being rescued by an F150 in the snow.
  13. Bison vs Raptor vs TRD vs Mojave

He needed a spotter, while having multiple cameras?
  14. Are the twilight sensor for the headlamps way too sensitive???

Yup, JSCAN if you want to change the threshold, or, use the old Off and On selections. And many many vehicles with the headlights set to automatic are on at ridiculous times
  15. Oil reset, now everything is FUBAR

Another interesting failure for the dual battery stuff.
  16. Dumbest Mods on the Market

Stance on a Gladi; what have you released to the universe?!? Oh! That's real?!? Nooooo!
  17. Whose fault is it anyway?

I think they have sent you the wrong part. On the front fenders here, the LED turn signals and running lights are level and straight; no curves. From your pics, it looks like they would fit here.
  18. Confused... Do I have a premium sound system or no???

Yeah, premium is not so premium this time around. It is like they focused on one genre, and then went cheap. It is not bad, but not nearly as good as a ten year old Mazda Bose.
  19. Stellantis info hacked

Unless there is a benefit to me, I opt out of everything.
  20. Stellantis info hacked

Companies buy insurance to protect against loss during a breach. The security audits are focused on showing the insurer that best practices were used. I know of exactly one person working in IT Sec that asked the users what devices should have internet access. The other devices were excluded...
