  1. Left-Foot Braking And BLD (Brake Lock Differential)

By some of the logic presented here, panic stops with MT must result in the clutch being floored as well as the brake. In the JT with an AT, I two foot all the time, just so that the left foot has the muscle memory to brake properly when two foot is a good idea. In a recent panic stop to avoid...
  2. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

Shell is open about their "Shell V-Power® NiTRO+" having more detergents: "Shell Regular: Also contains detergents as part of Shell’s participation in the Top Tier Detergent Gasoline program, but at lower concentrations compared to V-Power NiTRO+" Anyway, just saying that while the PUG does...
  3. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

Some brands have additional detergent/additives in their premium grade fuel.
  4. What a Royal Pain in the Arse

Yup, leather seats lacking perorations get toasty, just like the vinyl seats of yesteryear.
  5. Why do we have larger diameter rotors IN THE REAR?

The current Wrangler has the same rear rotors; look at the hats. The rears need to house the shoes.
  6. What a Royal Pain in the Arse

If you have leather seats, maybe try some leather treatment. The leather seats were quite firm for me until the second time I "hydrated" them.
  7. Why do we have larger diameter rotors IN THE REAR?

Yup, it appears that the hat on the rear rotor is wider, so the overall diameter must also be wider.
  8. 0W-40 in PUG 3.6

Nah, for total overkill protection, step up to at least 75W90. Kidding aside, yes, there too much of a good thing The dividing point on these discussions seem to be trusting the manufacturer to do what is right for the manufacturer, or what is right for the customer. But, there is also which...
  9. 0W-40 in PUG 3.6

Hey Gladiator007, Minty JL reported the same switch in another thread about two months ago, https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/oil-going-from-0w20-to-0w40.95836/. You might check on his experience. To answer your question, "What could go wrong?", one thing come to mind. If the...
  10. Gps. Maps

No idea what that is about
  11. Gps. Maps

That sounds like the route options were changed, like avoid highways or something similar is now set.
  12. Anyone experience hostility?

That just about has to be medical or DUI.
  13. Anyone experience hostility?

In the high desert and mountains here in So Cal, no unfriendly behavior to the JT or Cx-5. Now, our 500c on the other hand seems to offend some of the full size + lifted truck drivers, but only some, and I do not care. Otherwise, common courtesy is apparently not taught at home or school...
  14. E Brake button stuck

He pulled just a little too hard, lol. It ended well though!
  15. What is this Gladiator fire issue I am reading about

Maybe... https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2025/jeep-wrangler-gladiator-engine-fires-class-action-lawsuit.shtml "However, Fiat Chrysler told NHTSA it was aware of several thermal events originating at the power steering pump electrical connectors. The fires occurred on the front passenger...
  16. Still burping up fuel when filling up

Yup, burp/spit happens, at least to mine, before the auto-shutoff, not as a result of topping off.
  17. Still burping up fuel when filling up

I had this problem for months, either burp up a little, spit up a lot, or the pump auto-shutoff long before the tank was full and I could hear gurgling as the gas went down the tube over the next few seconds. The trick seems to be to have the nozzle as deep as possible, and then rest the nozzle...
  18. Random Blowing Horn

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/JL-Wiring-Diagrams/HORNS.pdf Any other gremlins? Does the horn work if you press the horn ring/switch manually, when F91 is pulled?
  19. Oil - going from 0w20 to 0w40

In one of the many threads on the 3.6, there are pics of a rocker (IIRC it was a rocker) with a nick in it, and a lasher still in the bag, with a piece of cardboard, thought to be a desiccant (rust prevention?). And there are some, hopefully truthful, posts claiming of engines at +100k mi. with...
  20. UI screen possessed by Satan

Moisture/humidity could affect the touchscreen. The 8.4 here had a similar problem. While not really visible in most lighting, the screen had some oil/lotion on it, causing the touchscreen to respond.
