As others have said, lots of variables, so YMMV. I personally run the Mopar lift on my '22 JTSD. I also have spacers on the front to level out the rake. I added the Synergy adjustable track bar, and a Fox steering stabilizer (through-shaft). That combo, with my '37 BFG ATKO's on Fuel wheels...
I have the Venator, and the powder coating on the lighter grey colored skid plate started rusting through after about 2 years. I e-mailed Rugged Ridge, and they sent me a replacement plate. It was a pretty easy process - so they do stand behind their warranty and have pretty good customer...
Pretty reasonably priced too...strongly considering a pair. My only issue is right now, my netting is still working well enough. Anybody have a set of these yet?
I have top/doors off from usually July through September. My truck won't fit in my garage either. I use a Rain Gear top and it works flawlessly. After big rains, I have to push some puddled rain out of the middle of it, but it's not bad. I can put it on and take it off in ~2 minutes. Never...
Mine has been outside since Feb. 2022. Still looks great. Maybe a little greying/fading of the unpainted part of the fender flairs, but it doesn't bother me. My BAK Revolver is a little faded, and has some sap spots on it, but that too isn't really a big deal. Paint and top look good. I go...
So I just tried option #2 above and I'm pretty confident it's fixed. I figured if I had to buy a new one, I might as well hack up the old one first. I just referenced @Mhog 's picture on page 4, and used my
Dremel to carefully open it up. Then I used a very pointy solder tip and re-soldered...
My wife just told me mine is out on the way back from having my fuel pump recall done. I took it apart and at least in my situation, I agree with @Rockabillyroy and @Mhog. It's the connector. I had 12v to the plug coming off the pigtail, so that's not the problem. I plugged it back in and...
Headed to the dealer to pick my '22 JTSD up - had my 10,000 mile service, and they had the parts for the recall, so they said they could do it then. Took them a little longer than they expected, but it's all done.
They confirmed my replacement pump from early 2022 was the same as the OEM...
I agree - I kind of doubt I have the new pump too as mine was replaced in January of '22....but I also think that even on the off chance I DID have the new pump, my VIN would likely show me on the list as I don't think they would have updated my VIN to indicate I received a new pump in January...
Yeah - I don't know if it's related to the volume of cars the dealer sees or what. My dealer basically said they'd "check if it needed the recall and then we could schedule that for another time." I told her that unless the initial replacement was the new pump, that it would, but I was fine...
So I just made an appointment to have my '22 diesel serviced and they said they'd check for the recall and order parts if needed.
I'm curious in my situation - for those who didn't see it a few years ago, my truck lost it's pump with 4 miles on the odometer - when the dealer was driving it to...
I just took my last car seat out now that my youngest is OK in a booster. Cause for celebration.
Rear-facing and carriers are a different ball-game, but once you graduate to forward-facing, I really like the Diono Radian seats - they're by far the narrowest I've found, which in some cases...
FWIW, I actually have both sets of end caps. They don't technically sell them separately, but I reached out to RR and asked if they'd sell me a set of the longer ones (I bought the stubby originally) just in case I ever got issues at state inspection or just wanted to change it up.
It was just two small holes for the mounting bolts for the SSC2's...for the wires, I actually just ran them up from the winch area and wrapped the wire with some nice flex-loom.
So I have the Venator, but I have the overrider from the Arcus (the round one). It fit with minor modifications. My original intent was to mount a pair of Diode Dynamics SSC2's to the underside of the bar. Upon doing the install, fishing the wires through given how the bar mounted ultimately...
Anybody find one with an M8 1.25 thread? I just ordered a set of the Rockworkx anodized thumbscrews for the hard top - They also have a tie-down loop built into them, and I'd love to be able to multi-purpose those as tie-downs on the Revolver t-slot if I could just find the right nut.
Adding my votes to the thread - I have what I imagine is a unique story. My fuel pump failed the morning I was supposed to get my truck from the dealer. 4 miles on the odometer - they were driving it down the street to fill it up for me to take delivery, and the pump died. This was December...
Another vote for the X4S from Alex at RealTruck. Had mine for about a year now - no issues. Does what it should. For the water leakage, if you install a thick piece of weatherstripping on the underside of the cover where it meets the bed near the cab, it helps A LOT. I had a thread somewhere...
I have the same set-up more or less with one exception - I've noticed that when connected that way, on drives over 1.5 hours or so, something causes it to freeze up. I'm convinced it's a heat related issue with the CarPlay adapter dongle since it's hidden behind the dash now. I added an...
