I'm probably going to hold the shortest duration record. Mine failed on mile 3 or so - before I took delivery. The dealer was driving it back from the car wash on the day I was supposed to pick it up. Took 2 months to get the parts in to replace it, but it's been great ever since. At 6,000K...
After further inspection - and reading another thread, it IS there...It's just not "easily accessible" or "right there" as some have said. To access it, I had to loosen the speaker box on the lower left dash, and pull the headlight harness out a bit more. If I shined a flash light deep into...
I JUST tried to install on my '22 JTSD and sadly had the same issue. I started with the dash portion of the install. Just took it all apart and no plug to be found. I too have the back seat outlet and the inverter is there.
Anyone find a work-around or is the harness hidden elsewhere?
I'm glad to read what you posted. I still have my old ones with the burn-out and will return them when the new ones are installed. I was a little worried I'd need to install a new harness. If it's plug-and-play with the old harness, it's a much simpler task.
I just received a shipping notice for my replacement set of these.
@ORACLElights - I'm assuming that means the redesigned lights are complete. Are you able to confirm and possibly talk a little more technically regarding what changes were made to prevent the burn-in in the new version?
So many...I had a '95 YJ that I got in high school. Sold it in 2007...Just got back into the Jeep game this year with my '22 JTSD.
I remember driving my granddad around in that '95. I had just gotten my driver's license, and took him out for a spin with the top down. He loved it. Passed...
I had a grey Stomper Jeep like this one when I was 4 or 5 years old. It was my absolute favorite toy. That thing would ride over anything and I played with it for years. Got me to the point that all I ever wanted was a Wrangler.
My Dad promised me if I never got less than a "B" in high...
3 months in and this stripping is still holding strong and keeping the bed largely water-tight. I ran it through an auto car wash a few weeks ago and there was some water in there, but it was more along the sides which made me think it came in elsewhere. Still loving this tonneau.
I have a pair of the smoked ones off Amazon. There are a ton of brands they are advertised under - guarantee they're all the same. My first set had one of the bottom LED boards go after a month or so and Amazon refunded me. I bought a replacement and got the Amazon purchase protection for $20...
@ORACLElights - I was wondering if you had any update on the redesign. I have a pair I purchased and installed in March that had the burn-in on both headlights. I have already submitted an RMA that was dealt with by you promptly and it was agreed that you'd ship the new ones once they are...
Yep. Round. The one labeled "Overland/Rubicon/Mojave Plastic Bumper" in the above. That's what worked on my Venator. It's possible the Rugged Ridge hardware can adapt for some of the other styles as well, but I'm not sure. I just know that one worked easily.
I think you are asking about the style of bumper bracket. I put SS3's in my Venator and it used the "Type M" bracket. It's the more square one and it bolted right up. I'd guess Rugged Ridge used similar specs for the Arcus, so I'd try that one.
I’ve got the Mopar lift, -12 offset wheels, 37” BFG’s and a stubby bumper on my JTSD. All the mods were on before I even got my permanent tags. Got it inspected at the state station with no issue. (I know it’s emissions only - but you’d think someone would say something) The one guy working...
Literally just had to do the same as nothing ever came of my cancellation request via the site. After I got the "ChatBot" to put me in queue for a live person, I waited for 45 minutes until a rep was available. Mind you I did this RIGHT at 9:00 AM EST when the live reps come available...
So I'm going to assume that's both ends of 1 continuous strap. If so, it looks like mine minus the c-shaped metal piece on the end of the bolt.
For mine, I simply layered two washers and the eyelet on the end of the strap onto the bolt that held the cover to the bedrails up by the cab. Once...
@Quadratec - Same issue here. Been trying to confirm a cancellation request on an item that has been back-ordered for several months. I sent the request in a week or so ago. I've gotten two "your order is still on back-order" reminder e-mails since I requested the cancellation, but no...
I've been trying to figure the same thing out - I want to get a set of cargo tie-down loops and some slot nuts so that I can tie light things on top if I need to. The cover is rated for 400 pounds or so on top I think. I'd be surprised if I ever have more than 100-150, but it'd be a cheap...
So I have a Tazer installed - I know the rear camera thing is a feature, but I need to read up on how you easily activate the rear camera. I just haven't read the instructions on how to do that quickly/easily. That's a good option for checking as I'll just see the road if it's open.
This was...
