Test camped for an upcoming expedition trip. I still need to buy some $400 expedition pants, swiss army knife, suede expo boots and a safari hat to complete the setup
I used one of these for Easter Jeep Safari. The club likes gunners or trail leaders to run an "official " flag. I prefer to not run those on an antenna. This worked out pretty well.

Here's my Jeep of the last 19 years.
XJ I had for about 6-7 years before that. That's on Pritchett canyon in July 2004. That's also the last time I have went to Moab in July. XJ last trail run
Hopefully you folks traveling aren't running into a bunch of this but this is my commute immediately north of Salt Lake City this morning.
Had about 3-4" of accumulation that hit right at the right time for the morning "rush"

Oh, on Golden Spike. That makes sense. I've not wandered over there with a vehicle before. Definitely looks like you're not the first party in there though
I just looked up the leaders/gunners page. I don't know your Moab Rim leaders/gunners and I think I know one of the gunners on Metal Masher. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I spent 20 minutes spraying all that junk off. I have at least that much further to go. I hate mud. Awesome day on the trail and the last 45 minutes of it were spent slogging through muddy access roads to get back to civilization.
Thanks. I mostly bought it this way from a local dealer. I've added Rock Slide Engineering steps, ARB twin compressor and GMRS/2 M/CB radios. Pretty much as delivered.

I use my Jeep to get AWAY from cell signal. I realize that other folks are different. I'm an IT professional and it's nice (maybe even mandatory for sanity) for me to unplug and not be available. I'm personally very hesitant to buy vehicles with heavy tech (good luck avoiding that) due to what...
Interesting for sure. I almost want to try one of those out just to see what it's like. That makes the RR4W event look like a bargain? (maybe we don't do as much as the Jeep Jamboree folks?)
