Any chance you remember which fuse? I'm thinking I should get positive feedback through the red wire when I apply the brake. I get nothing. Can't seem to find a brake controller fuse other than 36 and possibly 37. Red wire for brake controller matches up with green w/white tracer on the "truck"

Pretty odd as I'm not getting any power on the OEM parton of the trailer brake connector harness. The stupid box fuses are $5 instead of the normal mini cartridge fuses that are $.20. I'd feel better if I could get any power to the factory harness and then trouble shoot the purchased pigtail...

Power to the controller. I don't have power at the factory harness. Fuse 36 and 37 appear to be good (I've swapped them back and forth---not a fan of those box type fuses) tekonsha controller

Love my Rock Slide Engineering sliders/steps. Don't wheel the JT hard enough to really "use" the sliders. I do scrape and bump a bit on the belly and on the hitch. The sliders may get some contact but I don't think it'll be significant enough to need the extra armor. I wheel moderate trails...

I think it depends on your use.

This was a bit of a load for my deezel (on 37" tires and 3.73 gears). Handled the freeway (I-15) without much issue at all despite the 4300' elevation. Climbing mountain passes it was not as happy at all. The car is 3900 lbs. Trailer 1600 lbs. I think some gears would certainly help if I...

I do not. I do not wheel the JT like that. Maybe in a few years? For now, it's a daily driver and a great explorer rig. Once I've "cost realized" it over a few years, maybe it morphs into something different?
