Death by a thousand cuts as they say. Volcanoes spew more poison than a typical city... but that was going to happen no matter what we do. We don't have anti-volcano technology.
Plenty of news has been made this year about improved air quality in cities thanks to reduced traffic. Having...
I like the fob. It's a little wider than my other keys/fobs but it's also shorter. I like the hidden key, and if it comes out in my pocket it's no different than having an actual key in there...
Couldn't tell if this was a serious complaint or not, but after 11 pages I get the impression it's...
Day 8 and counting.
I don't have a garage, so the top and front doors are currently sitting in my screened porch while the Jeep sits in the carport. Not exactly a secure set up - and I only planned to have them off for a day or two - but it might be a while before they go back on at this rate.
Well, for those curious I did contact a Rhino liner installer. The guy was not set up to do it, and tried to talk me out of it. I'm not sure if it was because he couldn't help me out or if he legitimately didn't think it was worth the extra price and loss of friction (he said the coating is...
Anyone look into getting a color matched bedliner?
Initially I wanted to get the factory bed liner but couldn't find a gator near me that had one. I figured I would add it later.
Well a month later I'm really digging the painted color of the bed. Would be cool to have a liner that matched...
I'm definitely interested in upgrading the stock front bumper. All of them look cool, but I think I like the #2401 the best!

Nice! I saw a white Rubicon on the way in this morning. Gray, Silver, Black, Red, Blue, Gobi, Gator, and now White. I think the only colors I have yet to see in the wild around here now are Pumpkin and Granite. Haven't seen a Mojave yet but I'll give it some time.
My mother was car jacked in her driveway a couple years ago (random dude walking down the sidewalk decided to pull a gun on her). Thankfully she was just fine.
The guy got about .5 mi away before abandoning it. Apparently they don't know about parking brakes either.
That is exactly what they were after, and probably why several of the posts above mentioned otherwise obvious valuables left undisturbed.
Pretty much after cash, keys, and guns. Not worth trying to resell anything else. The only people you really read about getting caught have a trunk full of...
I got the n-fab nerf steps, and it's not a lot of surface area for the kids. My (as of last week) 4 yr old can manage it just fine, but I wouldn't think a 2 year old would be able to just yet. If you really need the target area the podium looks a lot more functional.
I expected to get polarized reactions, typical hate it or love it stuff.
Instead I've gotten 100% positive comments so far. Maybe people are being polite, but anyone who bothers to say something has been pretty impressed - and to be honest I'm impressed people actually know what it is given...
So there is a solution! I had been trying to wedge the top tether of a kids car seat and was totally confused as to why they wouldn't budge. On another note, it's a PITA to install the tether... have to fold the seat back up and tighten at the same time. I would have never thought to tear...
Honestly I had to run through 4-5 dealerships before I found anyone even willing to budge off the advertised price at the time (employee pricing).
But when I did, they were advetising MSRP of $41825 for $36250. I had to ask him 2x if that was including a ton of rebates I would never qualify...
Well glad to know I wasn't going crazy thinking it did basically nothing.
Somewhat related question - is there any way to stop the dome lights and bed lights from turning on when you open the doors?
Took my gladiator to some family property along the Broad River about 30 mins from town. It's about a half mile straight down to the water, about 100' elevation change. Not a difficult trail by any means, but one I could no longer manage in my Accord thanks to a few large ruts and washouts...
Columbia, SC, and have only seen 3 total. There's a Rubicon in my neighborhood that I pass everyday, which is definitely what planted the seed in my head. I see at least half a dozen wranglers every time I go out, though.
It'll catch on for sure, people probably just needed to see them in...
Been awhile since I was in school, but I recall air being ~78% nitrogen to begin with, the rest mainly oxygen. I suppose you would work your way down to that in steps, so the first couple times you deflate and fill up it wouldn't drop down to that right away.
Over my head but I think the...
Ah yeah, that is pretty much in line with what I was seeing. At this point the only difference I'm able to get is just who has the lower doc fee
That's about how much I was hoping to put down to keep the financing at $28k or lower. Good luck!
