  1. A.R.E. CX EVOLVE CAP installed

I have one on the way but without the opening side windows. Hope I don't regret that. Also didn't get the EVOLVE rear window. Figure the alu CX Classic is proven and strong.
  2. Unbiased opinions.

I could have bought either one. But I drove to my dealer and bought a loaded JTR right off the lot for under MSRP. The Bronco needs some "track time" to mature for me to dump that kind of cash and time into it. The JT is a proven platform with a much refined interior.
  3. What do you guys think of red wheels with the pearl blue

I wonder if the red will fade in the sun? They look nice but it could get old quick.
  4. Which wheel brand would you choose?

My 315-70 BFG KO2s have more bow in the tread than I want with the factory 7.5 wide. Looks like I'll be doing my favorite 8.5 wide Methods.
  5. Suspension measurements

In putting a lift together it would sure be helpful to have some basic measurements. Need to know the shock length at full compression in order to choose the correct one and a bumpstop. Example, running 35s with a 2 inch lift you don't need a 2 inch bump stop spacer with the correct shock. Bump...
  6. Powertrain controller module failure

Get a loaner and ask for an extension on the warranty. Document ever issue you have and use E mail to document it. It's not a lemon ,,,, yet.
  7. Jscan not able to disable ESS

The off button is right next to the shifter that I must touch every time I start it. This is really a 1st world problem.
  8. The Most Effective Steering Wander Fix Cost Me $0 (Updated 1-7-23)

I just don't want to be patching a bad suspension all the time. Done right once and done. Synergy says their 2 inch springs give a Rubicon a 2.25 lift. They are a 2 rate coils as many are. but the bottom coil is ground flat so there is no bow in the coil. Called Fox,,, their off the shelf shocks...
  9. The Most Effective Steering Wander Fix Cost Me $0 (Updated 1-7-23)

The belly of our JTs already are low and long. If you want to do big rocks (Rubicon Trail) you are going to hit things a lot. I am not. I will keep my lift at 2 inches or less, Synergy springs or spacers, and first go with adj CAs. I really want to keep a nice street and highway ride like stock...
  10. 392 and Xtreme Recon Gladiator not happening; but 4xe likely...

I wrote the check about a month ago so I am done for several years no matter what they do. My 3.6 goes just fine and gets poor MPG just like everything else in it's class. If I get an EV it will be a small plug in only for the market. My 14 Ram 2500 diesel and my new Gladiator will take me to...
  11. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

Nope, just a 3.6 gasser. The mod $$$ are adding up Tires 1500 Front bumper 1600 hitch 225 ARE camper 2500 Lift 3000??? Mopar rails,1200. Looking right at 10K and it won't even be a head turner. The thing is, there are no good deals or sales any more.
  12. Clayton 3.5 lift with 40's?

With 40s there will always be a fuse somewhere.
  13. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

How important is it to get one with a low mount winch mount. The flat tops can be found easier and can still mount a winch.
  14. Frankinlift choices

I am looking to do a flexing 2-2.5 inch lift over the factory Rubicon. My 315-70-17 BFG KO2s don't rub with no added bumpstop spacers so don't want to add any for the lift. I like the factory rake so not really wanting to level it. I see the value of going all 8 arms for ease of flex over the...
  15. Which wheel brand would you choose?

Not fan of black wheels. A nice machine finish is my choice. Method has a beautiful machine finish clear coated. I like the Double Standards.
  16. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

I know I want a full width for protection and possible winch. I also know I don't want an extra 100 pounds up there so aluminum will have to be the one. So far Rock Hard is the winner. But that thing will be $1500 at the door. I just did a build of it with shipping and tax, almost $2K!!! Might...
  17. Anyone running the Rubicon Express 2.5/3.5" Standard Arm Suspension Lift Kit?

Most coil springs are made in the Betts factory in Fresno calif. Made to customer specks.
  18. Clayton Overland Plus 2.5 or 3.5

Well I'll just jump in here. I want a factory ride with a 2-3 inch lift. Prefer springs over spacers. I want to run as little a bump spacer as possible. Will use the TF poly bumpstops that add about 1/2 inch of bumpstop. Don't want Geo-brackets. I will add adj CAs as needed to get better caster...
  19. Gorilla Glass

Someone at GG knows someone at Jeep. Bought my JTR oof the lat and it has the GG. Also has the headliner. That's about a grand I could have done without.
