  1. 35s, MTs, no poke (11.5s), stock Rubi rims?

Yeah I like those a lot too. If they made an 11.5" it would be a no-brainer. What psi do you run on the 7.5" rims?
  2. 35s, MTs, no poke (11.5s), stock Rubi rims?

On looks and just general vibe of the Gladiator, i agree with you. But after two winters in CO on the MTs, I'd like something with the 3 peak. The Toyos seem to be the most aggressive AT with 3 peak I've seen, particularly one available in 11.5". Yes
  3. 35s, MTs, no poke (11.5s), stock Rubi rims?

Long wait for me too, I'm in no rush. Only 15k on the Falkens. My plan is 2" lift and the Toyo's when the MTs are shot.
  4. 35s, MTs, no poke (11.5s), stock Rubi rims?

We must be sitting on them all over here in CO :CWL: This is actually the tire I want next, but I'm wearing out the Falken MTs first.
  5. For those of you running 37s

I love the look of those but feel like they would be crap on snow. You done anything in the Sierras in winter on them?
  6. Baby Bronco dies in middle of ascend

I used to have a YJ with the carburetor issue. If you had an aging YJ you probably know what I'm talking about (would lose pressure when at idle, including clutch activated for gear change). I would lose the engine on mountain roads when shifting. Got really good at fluttering the right pedal...
  7. 11.5 vs 12.5 Wide Tires

Thanks for this thread, I'm looking for almost exactly the same: 35x11.5x17 and keeping the stock rims. I assume I know the answer to this for obvious reasons, but are there any MT or hybrid tires that are 3 peak rated?
  8. My personal opinion, its not sexy!

I think stock looks good in a variety of trims, except the ones w/out a rock rail or step. The exposed sides look awful to me.
  9. Gladiator too big?? Perhaps the Comanche is the solution?

Am I correct that this is a modified modern gladiator? What top is that?
  10. Gladiator crabs on 4WD Hi

Happens to me all the time. I've gotten to where I drive with my hand on the 4x4 transfer shifter like I'm driving a manual (my JT is automatic). I switch in and out of 2HI and 4HI frequently for turns, particularly at very low speeds. On the one hand I'm now used to it; on the other, this is...
  11. wheel hop in fresh snow

Some good info here, thanks all. I've experienced this many times in CO. Usually starts around 8" powder, particularly if I'm the first to break trail. I've turned around a few times because I couldn't proceed in a way that go it under control. Locking the rear helps a little but not when...
  12. Tow Hooks...What are They For?

This is as close as I can find: https://www.amazon.com/U-S-Made-XD-Recovery-Bridle/dp/B004W3P4DE/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1PRTZS2IHM34T&keywords=recovery+bridle+strap&qid=1642694328&sprefix=recovery+bridle+strap%2Caps%2C108&sr=8-6
  13. Is selec track (or full time 4WD) inherently bad or weaker?

Someone @jsalbre gave an excellent description of the difference in reply to one of my posts awhile back. In short, no reason to avoid them, and they would inadvertently fix one of my annoyances with the Gladiator. But, in terms of snow, as others have said it is super easy to go in and out...
  14. Stupid question - How the hell you you see the battery voltage on the Gladiator?

Yeah I still have full control of the screen. It just switches to that screen to present the information along with the tire pressure alert.
  15. Stupid question - How the hell you you see the battery voltage on the Gladiator?

For me it is pretty regular that in the winter, in the morning tire pressure will go to ~27, but then go back to ~35 within 5 minutes of driving.
  16. Stupid question - How the hell you you see the battery voltage on the Gladiator?

Unless you live somewhere cold. I swear it changes mine to the tire pressure alert every day I start it...
  17. over 1000 mi on my 3 week old gladiator: pros and cons

From my perspective - no, it is not supposed to restart when you put it in park. Why would it? Why do I need it running in park? And whatever answer you may have for that, can it not wait 2-5 seconds on a delay? Instead we have shut-off, restart, shut-off for no purpose in the span of 2 seconds.
  18. over 1000 mi on my 3 week old gladiator: pros and cons

No one seems to be commenting on the other half of OP's ESS complaint, which drives me nuts as well. Namely, it is very common that ESS shuts the engine off as I pull to a stop in a parking spot. Then it restarts the engine when I put it in park. Then I turn it off since I have arrived at my...
  19. AAL door molle panels!

I'll be interested to see how you actually use them. The space between the door and seat is so small. Often I put something in the net and then have to remove it to shut the door.
