  1. Lets talk Coolant for the Ecodiesel

Just the Mopar coolant, I had the flush done at the dealership as they were balancing my tires. Oddly enough the dealership in my area is 10x better at balancing large tires compared to the local 4x4 shops. I unfortunately didn't test the bottle, but I'll pull a sample from the truck tomorrow...
  2. Lets talk Coolant for the Ecodiesel

I recently saw the EOC video as well around the coolant, and purchased some testing strips as my Gladiator has about 60,000 km on it. With the coolant being three years old, it tested around 5/5.5 pH level. Had a flush done and will check on the coolant in 6 months to see how its fairing.
  3. 21' Diesel Gladiator Steering Dead Spot/Wandering Problem after Clayton Offroad Lift

37 PSI cold is way too high for 37s in my opinion... you should do a chalk test, or most people recommend starting around 30 and go from there. EDIT: Didnt realize its been discussed to death already in this thread, should probably read the whole thing first LOL. Best of luck OP.
  4. Roaming Gladiator - Build Thread

Appreciate the feedback! Glad to see its working for you. Other than throwing on a soft top for the summer, the mod list has been pretty quiet as I continue to recover from knee surgery and going on vacation shortly. I'm still aiming to do my lift this summer, kraken inflation system, and a...
  5. Down2Mob Gladiator up for sale

This. If you watch his videos... the tires, axles, etc were all partially or fully sponsored. With all the publicity he gave to the camper company as well... I doubt he paid full price.
  6. J6 Bucket Build Long Term Project

I've spoken to GR8TOPS already for my conversion idea. They're working on a JT kit right now to convert it into a two-door, they said "pretty close" when I talked to them in April.
  7. Diesel cooling options and ideas

I have the parts but have not installed them yet. I'm not in a huge rush as its been pretty cool here and the forecast is staying that way for a while. I'm done a lot of research on the AFE CAI and general consensus is it does nothing, but would love to hear first hand opinion from some...
  8. Rugged Ridge Voyager? Whos running it?

After some tweaking and stretching after it was nice and hot, its working great. No whistling, vibrating, humming, etc nothing. Get a random hum every now and then at high speeds in a crosswind, but its a great top. I can't complain.
  9. Rugged Ridge Voyager? Whos running it?

Just bought this second hand from a forum user... super good deal, nice guy. Looks great, install is a bit of a PITA. The wind noise at high speeds though... my lord, its loud. I've never had a soft top so I don't know what level of noise is acceptable but damn, there's a wind whistle on the...
  10. Black Bear Pass in a Gladiator with 40s.

I would not attempt a dig on Black Bear Pass... not even in my dreams. @OP - Full size rigs have done it, you should be fine. Slow... and may require a few more turns than a three point but doable.
  11. 4xe Gladiator Hybrid (PHEV) Confirmed by Jeep CEO for 2025! ⚡️

Edison Motors is working on a pretty cool diesel / electric conversion kit right now, really interested to see how that goes. Edison Pickup Kit | Edison Motors
  12. Grill Conversion, but Not Angry

Like many others... I like it, but not enough to spend $4,000 on it.
  13. Diesel cooling options and ideas

While I'm not really the best test case for overheating as I live in a relatively flat area at sea level, I'll be doing a few heat management upgrades this year for when I'm towing. Supplemental Cooling System 2021-2023 Jeep Gladiator/Wrangler Diesel (bulletproofdiesel.com) BladeRunner 3 IN...
  14. Diesel cooling options and ideas

While I do not think 100-200lb over payload is a big deal, I'm surprised they are warrantying him. He's definitely over payload on a Rubicon Diesel... Its 925-935 pounds I believe depending on your package. Looks like a camper, extra fuel, camping gear I presume, him, maybe some family... he's...
  15. Clayton Off Road JT Suspension Systems

Damnit, why do all the vendors have to be so nice. Making it hard to decide 😂 I'm about a month out from ordering a full suspension, but once I'm ready I'll give you a call and see what we can do!
  16. Heartbreaking... My trunk was damaged in transit... Is it totaled?

This. Insurance companies bend us over all day long, do not accept anything less of making you entirely whole. You should not be out a single cent including all modifications done to the vehicle.
  17. Heartbreaking... My trunk was damaged in transit... Is it totaled?

That is 100% totaled. Puddle is right, that looks like they didn't account for height and smoked a overpass. That is quite a lot of structural damage to the roll cage, etc. I wouldn't take delivery of that personally... the value loss on it if you ever try to sell it down the road if they...
  18. Diesel cooling options and ideas

Running 37s with all my recovery gear, 30mpg all day long. Every modern engine has issues, it is what it is at this point. If I wanted a reliable vehicle I would of went with an old Toyota.
  19. Diesel cooling options and ideas

You really should trade that in under lemon law... my god that sounds like a nightmare. I know plenty of people with 100s of thousands of miles/KMs on their EcoDiesels with no issues. I know plenty without, it is what it is when it comes to modern vehicles. I love my 3.0, absolute torque...
  20. Do I need a lift kit on my 2023 Rubicon gladiator if i put 37 inch tires on?

Welcome to the forum, this has been a well-answered question hence why some people get annoyed lol. I also got a good deal on 37s and picked them up before my lift, you'll be fine on pavement. Depending on the offset of the rims you may have some rubbing so might need a few washer spacers to...
