Man - so snarky!!!
This applies also to the people who also posted their "likes".
I didn't realize you guys get so bitchy over an opinion related to an extended cab pickup truck - I think it's time to ease up....
The new interiors in the JL are great - we have a 2018 Wrangler JL Rubicon and the fit and finish is first rate. We opted for the cloth seats - very comfortable and the heat is amazingly fast and effective - three levels no less. I expect that the Gladiator will be just as good!
In this youtube video interview, the Design Chief for the Gladiator, Mark Allen specifically states that this truck did not come about from marketing studies and reports but specifically from Jeep fans and customers writing in and expressing their support for a truck. Certainly not anyone person...
It's a quad cab (not a crew) - specifically ordered in this configuration because it has a longer and therefore more useful bed - as should be the case with an extended cab Gladiator...
Not trolling - if you notice I am the OP for this thread. Also, I think I have been at this quite awhile with Jeep - I have been after them to build a truck since the 2005 Gladiator concept rolled on to the floor nearly 14 years ago. Many letters have been written and posts made through these...
The server for this thread was acting up - it said there's was an error in posting so I re-posted I now it's there three times - UGH!
Regarding what I said - I know this is a JT forum (no kidding) but the Ranger is going to be a prime competitor and I am just making the point that Ford (and...
Well what ya know - here is one of Ford's pictures of the brand spanking new 2019 Ranger showing its capabilities as a "Lifestyle" truck as we see the infamous mountain bicycles in the bed. Oh and please note one more thing in the photograph - IT'S AN EXTENDED CAB!!!. What ya know about that -...

Remember these concepts from Moab:
There is too much opportunity here to simply leave these designs in the desert...
Also, remember this whole Jeep pick up truck thing started almost 14 years ago with 2005 Gladiator concept - believe me there's still hope for alternative cab...
I did listen to the video and in addition to the segment you reference they both said that this truck is "100% the result of customer input, letter writing, etc. demanding for a truck" - by the way - several of the letters written were from myself. Therefore, regardless of what is said here in...
I have heated/cooled leather in my 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie quad cab and my wife has heated cloth in her new 2018 Wrangler JL Rubicon. Regarding leather - much is dependent upon the degree of tanning that the leather goes through. If you notice FCA offers two grades of leather seating on their Ram...
I think you may be right - many have said that they think FCA is reserving the extended cab mid-size offering for the new Dakota rumored to be a 2021 or 22 model year. That said, I would still prefer to see an extended cab Gladiator if for no other reason than being able to have a convertible...
I understand what your saying and I have to honestly say I don't know how one person continuing to provide a comment "highjacks" a discussion. I am always respectful of other comments and have also continually stated that I very happy a Jeep pickup truck finally exists and I am also happy for...
The prospect of a convertible mid-size pickup is very, very cool. This is perhaps the best attribute of the Gladiator. This definitely sets it apart from anything else - a huge and attractive advantage!!! I can't wait to see one...
