There's no reason why this truck couldn't be made to be both. I am sincerely happy for those buyers who wanted the four crew cab with a limited bed - you got your truck and your lifestyle has been supported. But, what about those of us with different lifestyles needs? My lifestyle supports an...
This poll has already been started and your participation is welcome - look for this thread under General Discussions. Help those of us who would like an extended cab and a longer bed.
I understand your point and you have a definite advantage over me in that you have worked within a truck program. But I have looked at numerous trucks in the market place. My 2015 Ram Laramie1500 or the newly redesigned 2019 1500 Rebel for example are each offered in a crew cab and quad cab. The...
I really believe it is wonderful for folks like yourself who will have a cab/bed format that meet your needs. I really mean that.
But, what about people like me who do not have kids home anymore and am more interested in extra bed space? Why were our lifestyle preferences ignored? I am just...
I think it comes down to how much Jeep stays with this "lifestyle truck" theme. It is clear the JT has been designed to try and be all things to all buyers - four doors - with a truck bed - four wheel drive - off road capability - good tow numbers - good payload numbers - convertible cab (very...
I apologize - especially to folks like you who appear to reasonable and open-minded about another truck format from Jeep. But I think it should be pointed out that much of my response has been in reaction to replies that have not been so reasonable - even indignant and insulting to some degree -...
I am not being hostile but rather I am responding to the treatment from other participants in this forum. I am trying to present a position about extended cab Jeep pickups based upon following this issue since 2005 when the initial Gladiator concept was shown - as an extended cab I might add. I...
Yes, and the Jeep designers said for years and years - "NO, WE'RE NOT BUILDING ANOTHER PICKUP TRUCK!" We see how that turned out. And as for the interview from the design chief - what else is he going to say on the day his truck is introduced? Of course he's going to say this is the only thing...
Why do people who bad mouth or say this is beating a "dead horse" bother reading or even coming to this thread. I don't go to the four door or crew cab comments and bad mouth them. I am glad you got your precious four door crew cab "lifestyle" truck. But there are those of us who still want a...
Oh I agree - this will definitely be a good seller - I just wish they would complete the coverage of the market and respond to us buyers who have no need to haul around 4 or 5 people. Give me an extended cab with a longer bed please!
The Gladiator with these tow numbers and payload numbers could be a very formidable work truck in the mid-size market. Hell, a 1,600 pound payload is considerably more than a Hemi-equipped Ram 1500!
You guys really need find some new animation - this is about the tenth time I have seen this - this is beating a dead horse with beating a dead horse....
We'll see who ultimately is right. I agree that a true two door cab is a highly unlikely but that is not the case for an extended cab. Once...
I have to disagree as I own a 2015 Ram 1500 pentastar Laramie ordered specifically in this configuration from the factory. Before I accepted delivery from the dealer I had the dealer install dual exhaust using from Flowmaster - she's sounds great - better than the factory Hemi - no lie. Nice low...
Love it!!! Not so sure about this being a "unicorn" - I think we have a reasonable chance of seeing the extended cab in a year or two - think of the Ram Rebel - initially only a crew cab and now offers both!
Amen!!! We can only hope that some day an extended cab or two door is offered. The hauling and tow specs on this are great for a mid-sized truck but 1,600 ibs. of payload and a 60 inch bed don't seem to make sense. And I know before all you lifestyle supporters out there tell me about hauling...
I have the pentastar on my 2015 1500 Laramie - a much heavier vehicle with skid plates, air suspension and ram boxes and power has never been an issue - even in snow or mud
