For the price to upgrade from 7" to the 8.4" Uconnect radio, might as well get the insane audio head-unit for slightly cheaper, easy DIY install and better options (from what I have seen on Youtube.) Definitely in my future upgrade plans.

I have a Rubicon and my door jam says my Max Payload is 1245lbs. All Max Tows that I have seen states that Max Payload is 1535lbs - 1560lbs. That is 300ish lbs difference. Not that much of a difference. (At least for my application) At the end of the day, I think both models are great. I...

My stock Rubicon with hard top measures 73" of height. So 4" lift with an additional 3.5" of height gained going to 40s from 33" is still under 7' (84"). Should still fit MOST garages. My garage gives me 82" of clearance.
