Welcome aboard OP! Traded into a brand new 2020 Sport S from a 2015 Trailhawk. I loved my little BU but I love my JT more. Night and day comparison.
Don't let these guys fool ya, they'll make moped jokes about your old Renegade but it is the most capable off road small SUV out there.
No, it's not there. It should be attached to the back of the driver's side knee speaker box. I bought a new one. Waiting to take it to the dealer and have it programmed.
Is this domestic or worldwide?
Either way, i know people that will never buy anything but a Toyota because of the superior customer service their dealers offer.
This is anecdotal but the point is I don't believe Jeep keeps customers because of the stellar dealer experience.
There was a tech there named Donald in 2015-2016 who without his help I believe I never would have had my tranny replaced. The service advisor told me that I just don't understand transmissions when I made an appointment to bring it because it was making a very lould noise when shifting between...
After a week of not returning my calls I went down there to find out they hadn't even touched it yet even though I had made an appointment a month in advance.
Yeah I could see the attorneys sneaking some fine print into that. Still, should be covered. The only thing i could see them nailing you on is negligence. How are you suppose to know the engine was over heating the entire time without a warning?
These surveys are a lot like political polls. They are there to generate news not report it. That said I have hated 95% of experiences i have had with CDJR dealers in ABQ, NM.
Negative, good thought though. I tend to keep things i have removed (radio, speakers, cables, bokts, etc.) in a box and have rumaged through it more than once.
That's a fair point. You could be 100% correct. However, taking out the driver's side knee speaker box is quite the process. I can be absent minded, but I really think I would have remembered taking it off. When changing speakers, I'm pretty sure you don't need to remove the SGW when removing...
Cables are hooked up to my Tazer.
I would agree it is odd. But for the life if me it's not there.
Speaker upgrade was one of the first mods I did. Within the 1st year. I don't remember the SGW being on the speaker when I replaced the driver's side knee speaker.
Only places my JT had been were...
The funny thing is that the 3 tabs on the module, 2 on one side and one on the other, line up with screw holes on the back of the kick panel speaker box.
I've done that and it's not there. I'm super slammed these next couple of days but I'll take the kick panel off and try to take a pic and post it by this weekend.
