Just finished it. Initial test drive my tranny fluid temp is in the low 160s. It was usually hovering in the mid 180s to low 190s. We'll see what happens going up a 6 mile 7% grade going to work on Tuesday.

My Suburban has an e85 flex fuel designation. the e85 means the ethanol mix is anywhere from 51-83% of the fuel mixture. On a road trip about 5 years ago I put the e85 in for one tank. My mpg dropped from 19 down 13. I've never used it since.

Doing a transmission pan swap on my 8 spd auto. Do I need to seal the pan gasket when reinstalling with a light coat of auto trans fluid? On both sides or just the side mating with the housing? I bought 5 tires off of Ebay. I got 3 different shipments. 1 tire, 3 tires, and 1 tire. The 3 shipments shipped from 3 different places. Maybe your problem is something like that. I had a hard time finding a tire shop that would install tires I didn't purchase there that didn't charge a fortune.
