Are there any rebated soon for a sunrider top? I bought one a few months ago, now my wife wants one for her JL even though she says it's ugly, but super functional lol
My dealer didn't want to touch it because they didn't have anyone certified to do that sort of repair and recommended using a body shop or welding shop etc.. I have some info around that, including a check from Jeep.
Just bought this car seat thinking it would work. In order to safely install it forward facing, you are still going to need to remove the head rest. :(
The JL seats are reclined a lot more than the rear gladiator, so you end up getting a huge gap between the back if the head rest is there.
It could definitely be improved upon. The canoe is attached by a folded down Burley Bee kids bike trailer with straps around it. Any tiny turns would make the canoe want to jack knife. Its very interesting going to the lake. Luckily its less than half a mile and its mostly in a straight line :)
I have a picture of mine somewhere. It was only welded at one edge and had a tack on the other side. That mixed with the red loctite makes a bad combination.
Per their internal documentation you must heat the bolts with an induction heater until it's glowing orange to get the bolts out.
Jeep Cares was actually accommodating. The dealer didn't want to deal with it because they aren't certified to fix welds like this. I ended up bringing it to someone who could and Jeep cut me a check for the cost.
Was yours a rear one that broke?
Yeah I totally agree. Most people don't need the additional features they're trying to add. The issue I had was they were switching over to the updated version when COVID-19 started, and they're company is/was at a halt because of the timing. We weren't able to do the AEV 2inch budget boost...
Let me start with this. Its way better to get a decent spacer lift than a cheap full blown lift. The Rubicon factory suspension is pretty decent out of the box.
Most of those sub $1000 range full kits would probably be a downgrade..... (oh, those crappy bushings that fall apart!)
Make sure...
Someone on a local group literally mentioned the other day that they were wanting to pay an additional few thousand dealer addons. I don't know how valid that is though. It was specifically Mac Haik though.
Why wouldn't you be able to get Employee Pricing + some holdback around there?
Are there any near by that have the options you're looking for? The dealer can trade to other dealerships if they want. They'll usually loose some of their hold back, but it might make sense.
Realistically you'll be able to get a base Sport with manual locking doors etc.. and an automatic transmission for around $32k including the employee discount incentive and if the dealer gives you some of their hold back. Don't expect more than a couple hundred dollars as holdback on that MSRP...
