Seems rather quick to jump into a buyback situation without trying to fix anything first... You might get lucky because its so new but I am shocked that star wouldn't suggest anything at all.
I think they told me 4.5 backspacing recommended... If the method wheel you are looking doesn't have that option then use a spacer to get to what they recommend. As far as warranty I know where I work they don't care unless something wears prematurely due to the pinion angle being set...
Dealerships will use the cheapest oil they can find that meets the Mopar MS-6395 standard. Which means pennzoil is probably not being used or any other big name brand oil you find in stores.
Are you starting the vehicle for a little bit before you check the oil? Oil settles in the pan after a bit so you have to start it and warm it up before checking the level.

I'd think about getting adjustable track bars. By lifting you have effectively pulled the vehicle to the side slightly. I asked the guys in the Chrysler shop and most tell me that customers complain about the bump steer after having their mopar kit installed. A lot of track bars and alignment...
The best thing you can do is find the bumper laws where you will be traveling and read them. Print them out and keep them with you. Every state has their own laws so you can't assume its the same everywhere.

Always ask for what things are actually covered with these extended warranty coverages. I can't tell you how many times customers would be upset at us because the coverage they bought didn't cover the things that actually broke.
