  2. The last Gladiator Tailgate Badge You Will Ever Need!

I have the tailgate letters (Gladiator) that Im going to work putting on this weekend, any lessons learned or tips yall got...looks like a one shot deal, dont want to hose it up. Hopefully the Jeep lettering comes off without too much trouble. I have a heat gun, figured keep it on low, move it...

  6. Anatomy of the oil cooler and filter housing.

That small heat exchanger/"cooler" if you will, doesnt look very efficient. Cooling the oil directly through a known plate type exchanger will provide way more result, IMHO. Unless somehow the main radiator could be larger to help release the heat load...but direct cooling of oil usually works...
  7. Fender flare extensions?

A little off topic, but are your rear mud guards the mopar ones? Im looking at some thing thats molded into the weird shape of the rear wheel well. I know weather tech makes them, trying to make a decision
  8. Power Sliding Rear Window - It's possible!

Nice job of tinkering, but damn Mopar needs to make one to retrofit that is a factory option with all the electrical leads, switch, all of it. These type of windows have been around on other vehicles for 20 years....
  9. Cooling efficiency of different hoods?

Thats a little salty, but I have also been thinking about it somewhere along the line, after I spend the rest of my life's savings on mods ? A Mojave or Rub hood are cheaper arent they? You could make the Rub vents active without too much trouble if you have any fab skills at all. Only thing is...
  10. What Overland Trailer do you tow?

I like that trailer. What did you use to mount the tent system, just plywood ( I would assume marine grade) or sheet metal. Im thinking a sheet of 1/4" aluminum. Do you happen to know the clearance of the slider to the compartment. I looked on the website with no info, I am looking at a remote...
  11. Babland Apex Control Box relocation

I put this same winch on my 2022. First, you need to change the power lead to come out the side, and plug the hole where it came out from the factory. Then I had to add 3 flat washers to the bumper to frame brackets to space it out just enough to get it to sit there without impacting the grill...

    LMAO, sorry....didnt even see that....
  14. Hood Rock Deflector...Yay or Nay

Yes, several manufacturers make a clear paint protective film. Im gonna put it on the front 6 inches of my hood, from the bottom edge up. Doesnt do crap for bug deflection but will help with rock chips on the paint. Gladiators have some on the rear fenders if they are painted, at least mine does.
  15. Where Does Most of Your Noise Originate From

thanks, not sure what the "star case" is, but I may take this info to the dealer and let them see whats up, only 7.5 months old so no issues with warranty
  16. Tire rotation interval

Im changing the oil at 8k and do those same tires then. I have not seen and weird wear patterns. What pressure you running them at? I played around with the air and settled at 38 cold and they are wearing great. At 13k miles currently. And by the way, thats the pressure on the door sticker, but...
  17. 35" Trail Grapplers constantly falling out of balance

This report is killin me....I wanted to upgrade to those tires when the "Stones wore out....I want their 35 x 11.5r17 to allow stock wheel use, and they are a load range C, figured they would ride pretty good compared to all the LR E's out there, plus a little lighter.
  18. Has anyone modified their Rock Rails by welding on step bars (like this)?

Looks good, but I would tear that thing off pretty quick, hang it up on something and prob bend the piss outta the rail itself....
