turning the phone off doesnt turn off the internal tracker....how you think the cops can track phones, theres a signal that comes out of the phone whether you opt out of location or not...
No way those fuel mileage numbers are right. I travel a lot. Normally approximately 800 mile round trip for work. I have the diesel Willys with the stock Firestone MTs (32's?), and I have purposely worked with highway mileage, using the cruise control, setting it for approx. 76mph or so, which...
Interesting, what is an "insulation kit", I may go for that route...its definately at the top of the drivers A-pillar, cant get my hand in there to feel it at speed, its coming from between the roll bar and the windshield, pressurized air noise.....
Same thing, leaking air noise front upper left. I tried adding more weather strip to try to quiet it down. No go so far, well maybe slightly. Very annoying, gotta crank the tunes to distract from it. The 'Stones MT's arent that bad, as expected w aggresive mudder
Im liking the look. I did the same thing on the Weathertech, added the fronts, I have the ACE Eng rock sliders, and between the two keeps the sides fairly protected. The rear Weathertechs look like crap in my opinion. Especially running wide tires, those fender add-ons would keep things good.
Im wanting to jump in on this myself, using the two plugs at the bottom of the oil filter adapter to a cooler with a fan(s). I notice at times when cruising on the interstate that the oil pressure is fairly low on these engines, like I have seen between 30-36psi at 70mph. You think this would be...
Chiming in on this....I was wondering about the "platinum" piss water myself. the makers claim its got some special goo that helps coat the internals of the gov parts bullshit to help prevent soot buildup. dunno if thats a line of crap or what, I will admit i was guilty and got some at the...
So, you shower and then release the water? Theres no way you could pick the pan up and transport to ?? who knows where, and release the water. I live near the Smokies, didnt know this was a thing now....I use a bath house most of the time
this is why I did what i discussed earlier in this thread, I didnt get the factory option, instead installed my own with a dedicated batt and inverter, then wired up a plug in the bed. Getting a theoretical 12.5 amps, so can run a few small tools and such. It comes in handy at times. Isolator to...
LMAO, well I certainly have wasted several thousand $ over the last years thinking the syn was better in viscosity, heat load, and wear....now Im not sure what I should do...
Yep, I installed another batt (deep cycle) with an isolator, switched inverter @ 1500W, then wired to the bed. You have to be smart enough not to run things to a point you kill the batt, but intermittent use of power tools, small heater, chargers, etc. works well. A light or stringers can run...
Installing the factory outlet is easy, but max of 3 amps stock outpit will not do much work...laptop, chargers for batt op stuff, light, small stuff. I put in a 1500 watt inverter and a higher rated marine type outlet in the bed, now i have in the 12 amp range and can run small power tools, etc
i used the harness and dielectric grease on all connections, especially the ones down near the bumper where the two lights tie in. Zero issues....hope it stays that way
