I haven’t found how to properly remove the trim without damage as yet. I’m sure mine is wind noise which should be easily fixed if I can get at the mic. So far, I’ve found nothing about removing that trim for the JT or JL.
I’m having this issue as well on my hard top LE with 8.4 screen system. I talk to my brother all the time from my jk. He knows the noise from my jeeps very well. He said it is speed sensitive and would be either tire or wind noise. These JT cabin is a lot quieter than the JK, so I’m thinking FCA...
I did the Opti-Coat Pro, 5 year warranty and my final price was $1200. The quote tool he used on his tablet was some kind of vendor provided software. I’m guessing it is fairly standardized. I did get $400 off with the truck being new with 16 miles on it at his shop. The new paint saved him a...
My Gladiator is the best driving Wrangler-esque vehicle I’ve ever bought. I’ve had four. I liken the Wrangler to a brick on a roller skate, the old side by side kind. A little pivot across the long axis affects your direction. The flatness of the jeep really catches wind. I’ve felt less push in...
I was skeptical at first as well. I’m focusing on ease of cleaning for the years to come. The professional grade products are only available to certified retailers as others have stated. The price reflects the labor involved. There is a LOT of labor when done correctly. I did the math and figure...
I dropped mine off for ceramic coating today. This will be my first personal experience with this kind of protection but have seen nice results for many. I really like this red.
7 on an LE. There is a lot with my purchase where the dealer was pulling some real BS, but he didn’t let it get driven and I’m really thankful for that.
This topic is widely covered across Jeep and other car forums. I suggest first learning the basics of what a differential is and how it works. Gearing really is an exercise in leverage. “How much do you need?” This is much like asking a crowd of folks how much horsepower do you need... The...
Sorry for the delay, this slipped by me.
I would call it a simple resto mod. We keep it close to original as possible but not sticking strictly to the mil spec. Since the engine and running gear are fully functional, none of that has changed. Brakes are the same along with the steering. No AC...
