Thatās what you get for wanting to call it a Scrambler.
Donāt worry, Iām sure itās mine on some scenic route to Houston.
EDIT: I did insert a smiley emoji but it isnāt sticking. Just joking...
Getting updates from my dealer is like asking for a kidney. I only asked every couple of weeks. I donāt see 2 or maybe 3 status updates per month is asking too much for a $62k investment.
Be thankful that you have a sales person that is helpful. They are getting rarer.
Mine is slated to be in a rail yard on the south side of Houston on the 16th. Projected to be at the dealership on the NW side by end of the month.
Shipping is a very slow process. I guess they donāt know Iām an Amazon Prime member
I run the KO2s on my 2012 JKUR and love āem. They do better on pavement, especially wet compared to the BFG mud terrains. Iāve had the Duelers long ago. Iām sure this newer generation does better than what I experienced back then. Iāve never had the Falkens. I would happily get a new set of KO2s...
Congrats. I had a 2001 TJ, loved the Sienna color. My brother talked me out of it. I helped him with the engine rebuild at about 200k. Piston skirt broke on the back cylinder. Sheās been back on the road for a couple years now. I wish you continued good luck with yours.
This technically shouldnāt count being it happened back in January, but... I swing by the dealership to set up a service appointment for my 2012 JKUR. The service writer was delayed a few minutes with another customer so I was killing a little time looking over a JL on the floor. Sales guy...
Pure gimmickry in my opinion. It looks like a quick skin job to me and the real structural considerations SleepyJeep brought up are significant. Her money, her Tesla, so she is free to do as she likes. Putting it on YouTube invites comments so she should be prepared for the negative responses...
Solid statement here.
Iām just a country boy with a bit of college edumacation, not ane engine builder.... but,
I always heard it referred to as pre-detonation not just ādetonationā as they kept saying in the video. After all, my four-stroke wonāt work without detonation.
Before you put...
Like most, Iād be interested in a Hemi V8 just for the āmore powerā part of me. Truth is that my 2012 JKUR 3.6 with 4:10 gears and 35ā BFGs really is enough. The extra engine tweaks and 8 speed trans will add some to the driveline I have now so I feel good with the Pentastar and think it is fit...
The stubby antennas definitely impact AM/FM reception. Size does matter, no matter what she tells you to your face.
I like my local radio and donāt mind the long antenna even though the shorter ones can look cool. You wonāt miss it if you use sat radio or stream from you phone. You can usually...
I remember the dual action tailgate on station wagons when I was a kid. Iāve had trucks, JKs, TJs. I always find myself wishing for a drop down, never a real need for swing out. I also think the dual action costs you in supported weight.
I started with an ā87 Colorado Red Comanche which was my first new vehicle ever,
then an ā89 Colorado Red Comanche which had AC and the straight six,
an ā01 TJ,
a ā12 JKUR Call of Duty,
a ā67 M715.
Now itās time to circle back to a red jeep truck before I die, which aināt guaranteed with my...
I ordered an LE and would be happy if the factory liner got skipped. I would prefer to get Linex instead. The aftermarket options are better in my opinion. Just refund the option or let me make up any difference.
I just saw this in my inbox today. I was late on April 4th and got the all-reservations-are-taken response. Then I got the email saying they were overwhelmed and they would get back to me. They didnāt. Iāll be checking tomorrow to see if I get one more bite at this firecracker red apple.
Iāve...
