Upgrade to 35ās and realize theyāre too small and went to 37ās? Got 37ās only to need 40ās? Iām here to help, my wagon needs a little more clearance but Iām not exactly flush with cash at the moment. D or E rating required.
Depending on the brand, wear, date of manufacture Iām willing to pay...
My mopar lift also maintained the factory rake⦠ended up throwing a Terra flex spacer to defeat it. Not sure how much your gear weighs, but when towing a trailer or having a half a pallet of shingles in the back it about evened out or squatted a little extra.
Thatās how I ran my JTRD for three years. Rode good enough, Iāve never ran a kit from another manufacturer, but I felt perfectly capable on and off road. She was a bad bish.
I think those high earners, $100k is the new $50 it feels like, are the ones valuing these for nostalgia and the like. The ones that are used are still going for $10-$15k depending on mileage and condition in my parts from what I understand. There is a lot to be said for the last of true...
Itās not a deal breaker, but now that I have uconnect 5 in my Ram, wireless CarPlay is hands down a game changer. I wouldnāt not buy a vehicle because of it, but itās high on the nice to have list.
I traded in my 2021 JTRD for $36800 in November. Dealer listed for $49k, dropped down to $41k around new yearās and they still have it⦠but now listed at $44k.
The speaker was never standard with any package that Iām aware of, always an individual option. My 2021 had the alpine premium audio and no speaker, it was a $250 option back then I wish Iād gotten three times a year when I could have used it. Otherwise, you can get awesome speakers for less...
Never heard of it, but I'm not in the camping game. The retractable roof is a very neat idea though. If I still had my truck I'd definitely buy it off someone on Marketplace in a two years.
Agreed, having a tool for each job is ideal, I canāt quite swing that yet. I thought the JT would be the happy place between Jeep and truck⦠just didn't hold true for me. I missed the Jeep once on some tighter trails, but the PW does just fine really. Even being a tradesman, the interior is on...
All PWās have a compromised payload⦠itās due to the softer springs, the disconnecting sway bar and the aritculink front suspension that is built for flex. However, I have a similar or even higher payload than most 1/2 tons and retain a 3/4 ton frame and drivetrain. If we both run max payload...
In an ideal world, anything over 8,000lbs from Warn. In world people can afford, Badlands Apex 12,000 is half the price of the Warn and seems to be a great value. HF is also local to a lot of us, so finding one and getting a replacement, etc. isnāt so much of a headache as with others.
Itās still a 3/4 ton at heart. Your payload and tow rating may be limited to that of a 1/2 ton, but load and/or tow with both at the max and tell me which one is more comfortable. It will also out wheel any 1/2 ton out of the box.
Itās a whale off-road on tight trails, but I live in the desert...
Of course.
Also consider the aftermarket. There are few companies making stuff for the power wagon, it is out there, but you wonāt find a bumper on sale for $300 like we can with companies like smitty bilt, rugged ridge, etc. that all make in bulk over seas. The upside is that you get great...
