I still prefer paper GPS. So much easier to see the big picture with a Road Atlas. If the display is the size of a nautical chart table, that might change.
Back when things were sorted by North and South instead of Left and Right, Maryland seemed to be in that state of limbo. A bit of both and none of the other. Drive like a Jersey Jerk or stop in the road to have a conversation.(it's a Southern Thing)
At 30 mph, that 5000 lb. vehicle hits with 220,000 ft lb of energy. A 5.56 has 1200 at the muzzle. Far too many licenses handed out without a psych eval or IQ test.
What are the projected fuel savings for ESS? 2%? That is .34 gallons saved at 17 mpg. All vehicles achieve 0 mpg when stopped, engine running. So, how much fuel is needed over time to idle? I doubt a 3 minute idle time would consume more than a cup or two. Engineering smoke and mirrors, IMO...
Does the product cause dirt and debris to cling to the surface? Last century, undercoating of vehicles by Zeebart and others was a lucrative business. Undercoating was a factory option as well but with reportedly thinner coverage.

In the early 70's, the Goobermint decreed all motorcycles must have the same shift pattern and location. Neutral between 1 and 2 with a press downward to first from neutral and a lift up for 2 and higher. So the pull of the Jeep shifter to upshift seems natural to me. Any one use a heel/toe...
