  1. Does this look bad? 35s vs 37s

I think it looks great, white isn't my color but that's just me. I'm still running the factory wheels and tires on my '22 even after adding the Mopar 2" lift afterwards, that turned out to be more of a 3" lift. I'm going to do 35s next set of tires, I'm happy with it, but I do have those days...
  2. I have never been a mud flap type but....

Looks like they are working pretty well so far, they'll save you back fenders too, I spend a decent amount of time on unpaved roads also, and my back fenders are.....textured let's say.
  3. First time JEEP owner!

On the grill, at least go back to a factory grill, those angry ones have a long reputation for not passing enough air into the engine compartment. Wheels and tires, I like the black 17s that came on my Rubicon with Faulken Wildpeak AT3 33's, going to the AT4 and metric 35's when these wear down...
  4. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

I'm going to try the grommet and bungee on my driver seat cover, I think I'm going to also make a couple slits in the side with a hot knife so the side skirt tucks around the lumbar knob and the seat jack handle. I can only see that helping, it always bunches up when I drag my butt over the bolster.
  5. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I know everyone has their preferred audio band of choice, I'm not disappointed with the premium audio group that I got with my '22. The only thing that drives me crazy if I think about it too much is, why can I only turn it up to 27.... Why such an arbitrary odd number... Give me 30 or eleventy...
  6. First time JEEP owner!

First, take stock of what was done before it was yours. Second, kinda like several have said, consider your wheels and tires for your area and what you intend to do.
  7. 5.7 Hemi coming to Gladiator? TK Garage Reports

JT brother here too, Hell of a truck, add the security buttons and whatever other nonsense, register it as the half ton of already is. Currently it's in the same class as the new Maverick.... That'd almost fit in the bed of a gladiator. Just saying
  8. 5.7 Hemi coming to Gladiator? TK Garage Reports

Diesel was ~10k, so worth it though....... Nom nom nom
  9. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

Oh, I don't get bent about it in the slightest, just give them a nod and roll on. I'll have try some Copeland and Mancini when it gets warmer. Like both of those, thanks for the tip
  10. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I think everyone needs to, at least one time, take the whole top off(doors optional too), go total apocalypse now, and blast some Wagner, especially if it's on a gravel or dirt/mud road.....
  11. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I get funny looks cranking Sinatra with the top down, just a heads up for anyone else.
  12. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

Got to thinking about it, maybe a grommet hole on each of the back skirt corners and a bungee strap around the back of seat. Just a thought, it's dark and cold right now so I'll have to look at it tomorrow
  13. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

Hood locks go with something I said maybe earlier, and another thread I think about basic functions. I think this is a function that's faked, spoofed, overridden by having a Tazer, you can set it to blare the horn if you pop the hood while there does are still locked. It's a half step towards...
  14. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I had a '14 Cherokee sport before my gladiator, kinda made it my own, I know it was a Fiat but, small spacer lift, AT tires up a size or two, just had the 4 banger but even with the bigger heavier tires it was a good daily driver and no slouch getting into 'stuff', and pull my boat. And in the...
  15. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I had that in the back of my head, or sell them without a bed like bigger trucks so you can do your own thing.
  16. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

Don't forget about the respective transmissions that go with those engines, the 3.6 and 3.0 have different transmissions. I get your point though, was talking about the Mojave balance for soaking up jumps, wasn't trying to ruffle feathers. I was using numbers off the cuff, I've got steel bumpers...
  17. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

I think the focus group was poorly cast and probably done at an unfortunate time. -it's a truck, not a muscle car -it's a Jeep, if it's loud, you didn't understand what you were getting into. -3.0 diesel probably priced a lot of people away, 10k addon but I get mid-high 20s for gas mileage and...
  18. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

It's an option but you have to give up your 12V plug down by your 4x4 shifter. I swapped mine out, brake controller works pretty well but I'm relegated to inflating pool floats by other means. I think that was another option I couldn't order at the time, either availability or package ordering...
  19. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

No worries, those were rough numbers I played around with my build before I ordered mine, swapping in/out the tow package with and without the diesel was really enlightening. The Rubicon suspension is heavy on its own with stiffer springs for flexing and squatting, the Mojave longer travel and...
