My camper and my buddies camper needing to be maneuvered into a real tight spot. (Mine is the smaller one, have a drop hitch now that can do 6" up or down). And got these nice tow mirrors that clip on, Brand is called Snap & Zap.
Haven't done anything yet today, locked up my winch somehow yesterday, just got new steering damper delivered about 15mins ago. I'm waiting for the the temperature to get up a little more before getting into those, maybe after lunch.
So are those like the triangle shape pencil cap errasors? I've got those bed sliders and they've taken some good hits, no worse for wear. What are they even made of? I've been thinking of taking off my factory Rubicon rails, including the bed ones, down to the local LineX shop that I had my bed...
I don't have issues getting around the BSTs, didn't have a WHD currently, I was more pointing out the weight of the pull truck, to plant and command what you're pulling. When I get my hitch to the back corner of a semi, feels like it's sucking the camper and tailgate in so I have to correct...
@Rusty PW, Well played, tip of the hat and a nod. Keeping with the theme, ordered new steering damper today to hopefully address the wildly random death wobble I've been getting lately, but almost always when it's below 35°F, we're doing regular 30-40 temp swings lately here around STL MO the...
When you were scrubbing the carpets you should have come across an oval carpet cut, about 1" wide and 2" long, I got the factory mats and had to pull then out and cut the carpet. The factory has the drain holes and plugs, they actual go through the carpet and floor pan, straight to the outside...
Tow capacity is a really dodgy number. When you start to talk about how long of a trailer you can comfortably pull, think about how much you're truck weighs, that's your anchor point. Then think about the ratio between your truck length and trailer length. Then think about either drafting a semi...
I've got a '22 gladiator Rubi, I replaced my 12v outlet for the factory break controller, it's a y plug so you could relocate the original 12v plug if you thought about it. The brain box for the factory break controller probably is meant to be installed before the driver front quarter panel and...
So sad and happy, why can't I ride shotgun, hang my head out the window and let my tongue flap in the breeze, or ride gangster with one arm hanging out the window. My Welsh has always been out the window, 45mph was about her limit though, gladiator doors don't exactly jive with that, but she was...
I'm not sure what scale that tape was based on, a whisker or by skin of your teeth is common measure in my neck of the woods, but that tape looks like 'said hair width' is at least 1/8th inch, maybe skip the razor and invest in a brush hog if that's the scale.
This look great, only thing you might be missing out on is the drain plug. I've got the Mopar slush mats, had to pull them up and cut the little sides on the carpet, but now I've got ~2" of floor board mess containment, and a direct drain plug to the ground in each of the floorboards
Crystal grey metallic, nom nom, same as my '22 rubi, hit up some wet gravel roads, the back road paint job is a sweet contrast to crystal grey. I ordered mine minimal, had I generous employer partner benefit, sticker was 61k, about 45k after that. I basically got the diesel on my partner...
I'm on the road from Illinois to Texas, I couldn't get my adjustable drop hitch to cooperate so I'm running with my solid 2" drop, not bad, little more squat and bounce but totally doable
Bad and good news at the same time, congratulations on the new ride, let the stock feel settle in for a bit, it'll make what's to come even more better.
I've got the black fenders, I was just thinking, I'm not looking for slick black factory tire shine kind of look, I'm thinking more if it'd be worth while, my back fenders look peppered like a back roads road sign, you know what I mean.
I don't know if there's an official rule set but I'll share what I try to adhere to:
1: yes, only for Wrangler/Gladiator style, if it's dark watch for a bright slash through the headlights....i mistakenly waved a baby Bronco the other day.
2: driver yes, passenger optional(but appreciate)
3...
I'm toying with the idea of taking my fenders off, sanding them, and taking them to the LineX shop that did my bed liner. Thoughts? My hangup is how hard my bed has been to 'clean' out, I generally leave my JT regular road dirty, run it through a car wash on a nice day. I hauled some really...
