I'd wonder who makes the sensors. I had a really rough run with sets of Bosch sensors on a Blazer being so far out of range from each other, they wouldn't work together, those were O2 sensors in the exhaust track. I found a lot of other experiences like that too while I was trying to run it...

I switch between a sunrider and hard top panels for winter. I recognize the extra bit of noise with the sunrider, I don't mind it, what really gets me is the buffeting in high wind or if you get stuck around semis on the highway

Wait a second, the light fuses you mentioned, are those the button lights? If that's the case you could t-tap off the cig lighter or something else depending on it you wanted acc or not, it's the relays that handle the heavy load.
