No...and no offense but stock JTs look like shit. The JTR and JTM are the very base a JT can be and almost look alright. Just barely. My opinion is also swayed by the fact that I offroad my JT so base models look "useless" to me.

They’re fashion statements for the most part and very few situations offroad need them. People use them at times but they’re not needed. I have one in my garage I bought 10yrs ago and I’ve never used it. Generally a stock jack with jack base and/or bottle jack works in most cases.

Yeah I misspoke. Google reference failed me. But yeah that’s the ping I’m referring to. I’ve heard the ping on many JTs and even JLs. I’ve had 2 JTs and both do/did it. On my first one even 93 wouldn’t help. On my current one it takes about 95% of the pinging away.
