Its not fine. Driveline load is harder, offroading gearing suffers even more, as does driveline load that much more coming up rocks. Plus...your gas mileage suffers. Yes, 4.88s are a waste of time too.
That’s a guy that hasn’t had any experience with gears. All the “4.10s are fine” folks don’t have any experience.
To me 35s aren’t worth it. There’s no value in those tires anymore. But with 35s there’s no value in regearing too.

Jack stands on frame behind control arms.
Remove tires
Remove 1 end of sway bar links
Remove lower shock mount (with jack supporting the axle).
lower the axle and remove spring
Insert spacer.
Reverse the process. Torque everything.
30min of your life is over.
