  1. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Went offroading with a few toyota's.
  2. Jeep Files Patent for Convertible Doors for Wranglers and Gladiators

Those type of doors suck. Just like all half doors. Give me no doors or full doors.
  3. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

You're right...I should definitely get out and Jeep more around the country and try new terrains! Hahahaha. And most of these pics are quite recent (a couple were from this weekend)...I just didn't want to flood the thread with my pics. Your little rock mine field pics are cute and all... I...
  4. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Yeah I can see that you used them like that. That went without saying. But you’re wrong. It’s not a matter of can you do it, it’s a matter of should you. And you shouldn’t. You do you tho - not my Jeep. I just care enough to make sure other people don’t follow that advice.
  5. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Its not fine. Driveline load is harder, offroading gearing suffers even more, as does driveline load that much more coming up rocks. Plus...your gas mileage suffers. Yes, 4.88s are a waste of time too.
  6. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

“4.10s are fine” followed by “Needs more than 20% more gear to perform correctly” luls.
  7. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

That’s a guy that hasn’t had any experience with gears. All the “4.10s are fine” folks don’t have any experience. To me 35s aren’t worth it. There’s no value in those tires anymore. But with 35s there’s no value in regearing too.
  8. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Anything 37-40 should have 5.13-5.38. 35s can do 488s but who cares at that level?
  9. Basic first aid kit

Thats a myth. Short answer is to keep their heart rate down and haul ass to the hospital. In fact you're making things WORSE by applying it. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/000031.htm#:~:text=DO NOT apply a tourniquet, compresses to a snake bite...
  10. Basic first aid kit

Thanks for the reminder, needed to replenish my packs.
  11. Basic first aid kit

Snake bite kits are worthless - https://www.exploretruenorth.com/snakebite-kits-do-they-work/ Best thing to do is get them to the nearest hospital, preferably one with antivenom. Screwing around some useless kit or tourniquet attempt will just waste valuable time.
  12. Basic first aid kit

Typical first aid, also added Tylenol and Advil to the bag - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000069EYA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Trauma kit (bleed control) - https://www.narescue.com/public-access-individual-bleeding-control-kit-nylon.html (also amazon...
  13. What do you do with your doors?

2 dollar eye bolts @ Home Depot and hang them on the wall. For travel fun...truck bed.
  14. 1st time top off, 1st time caught in the rain ?‍♂️

https://www.amazon.com/Mopar-Gladiator-Black-Water-Resistant/dp/B0821QHKQX https://www.raingearcovers.com/product-page/4-door-gladiator-cab-cover Fans, airflow....leave doors and top off (or open).
  15. First timer bottle and floor jack question for installing lift kit

Not complicated. Jack stands on frame behind control arms. Remove tires Remove 1 end of sway bar links Remove lower shock mount (with jack supporting the axle). lower the axle and remove spring Insert spacer. Reverse the process. Torque everything. 30min of your life is over.
  16. Have any of you with 37+ tires gotten a flat on the road??

Your friend is naive. The no spare crowd aren't bright. Weird thinking just to drop a 115lbs.
  17. Need to vent: found out dealer lied

I'd never buy a used vehicle myself. Too many people don't treat them right. But I'd ESPECIALLY never buy a Jeep used.
  18. Toys?

    1/10 RC and a 1/24 toy.
  19. Need to vent: found out dealer lied

Then get rid of the Jeep and get a new one, simple.
