Posers and mall crawlers are just the facts, its not name calling really. They want to "pose" as an offroader and/or they just want to drive the streets.
Some people just want a convertible, some people just want "the look"...like some people bodybuild and never actually compete (well, most don't). Eh, I usually don't care...sometimes I think its stupid to waste your time and money on something you don't actually use. But to each their own.

lol no. JK ball joints are absolute shit. They went out immediately. They failed with stock tires quickly, let alone 35s. And don’t even think about 37s+. Heck, it took synergy and Teraflex multiple versions to even get a decent joint designed.
JL/JT joints are holding up to 40s.

All of those I’m usually in the 2200-2500 mile range. Wind noise gets old but otherwise it’s pleasant. I did the last one on 39s and it was no different than the 37s.
Rented a base wrangler in Mexico in 2007. Was infatuated with it.
Bought one a few years later. Still have it.
That little 2500 dollar trip to Mexico cost me 100s of 1000s of dollars, lol
