If you get the Mojave, you could get the sunrider top to replace the freedom panels. Opens in seconds and provides a great open air feel. Once we installed the sunrider top, I just put the freedom panels in their bag and stored it in the closet.
I haven’t had issues when it rains, only when I wash my Gladiator. I get some water intrusion at the tailgate. Not sure how to fix that though. Overall very happy with the purchase.
Congratulations and enjoy the new ride. For me, it's awesome to see my grandkids smiles as we cruise with the Sunrider top open and the windows down. Their mom's do not like the idea of the doors off yet.
I went with a set of Toyo AT3 35*11.5/17's and the ride was an instant improvement over the OEM Firestone's. Though not listed on the Discount Tire website, my local manager took great care of me. There is a slight poke because of the small offset on my wheels, but nothing that bad.
I've done the Teraflex leveling kit and upgraded to Bilstein shocks. Then went with a Toyo AT3 35*11.5/17 and have had no issues. I changed the wheels only because I wanted a different look.
I did the Coverking topliner and it made a big difference on noise. A side benefit was that it helped with temperature variation in the cab. Here's the link - https://coverking.com/products/topliner?variant=42021629493410
I've had a "14 JKU and it was nice, but had to trade it in for a more family friendly vehicle. i.e. Had to haul grandkids. Later purchased a 2010 2 door Jk which because of major mechanical issues was eventually traded in on the Gladiator. I'm extremely happy with the Gladiator and would not...
I updated the soundbar with Kicker - CS Series 6" x 9" 3-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones, added KICKER - CS Series 6-1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones to the dash and a Kenwood - 400W Class D Bridgeable Multichannel Amplifier. It did not break the bank to do this and...
I agree, I didn't want a full size and personally wanted all the benefits of a wrangler with a bed to put stuff in. The gladiator was a perfect choice for me and my family. But not everyone is like us.
True, but the OP asked if people are loosing interest in midsize trucks, especially the gladiator. Not everyone who buys a gladiator one goes out on trails or plans to, so there are other options and I wonder if they are now looking at those options before getting a Gladiator.
When I priced the 8.4 from Mopar, the cost was more than a Stinger Heigh 10. It was going to cost me the same to have someone install for me, sorry I'm a coward about opening the dash and for $150 dollars it was worth it. Opted for the Stinger Heigh 10 and extremely pleased.
As I read through the comments, the major question that needs to be answered concerns the price of a full size versus a midsize. When I can get a Chevy Trail Boss or a 4x4 RAM 1500 for about the same price as the Gladiator's at my local dealer, what's the better choice for my needs? Had I not...
So this is what it looks like, bartact has one I believe that you can purchase. Not sure how that would work with seat heaters thought. Since the bladder is plastic, I would think it would melt...
If you hadn't done the Katzkin seats, I would have told you to check out Wet Okole neoprene seat covers because you can add lumbar support for the passenger (navigator) seat. Since putting on the seat covers and adjusting the bolsters to my wife's preference, she says the ride is so much better...
Love those American Outlaw Wheels that you chose! Look good on your Gladiator. I had those on my JKU and got a lot of compliments. Great choices all around.
